I have tried many topical analgesics and have found this one to provide the best pain relief far and above it's other competitors on the market!

This product as described in the description above, does help relieve "minor aches and pains of muscles and joints due to: simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises, and sprains" and can be applied to non-sensitive areas like the wrists, elbows, knees, shoulders, neck, back, etc. or wherever you may need pain relief.

I have found that by applying a liberal amount of Zheng Gu Shui to the aching area, gently massaging it into that particular area, and then applying a warm to hot compress on top of the area for approximately 15 minutes and then repeating this process for a total of 3-4 times during the day has provided the best pain relief for me. I am not advocating that anyone try or not try what I've done to help with pain relief. I'm just sharing my experience with Zheng Gu Shui.

A few other personal notations:
A) This product is described as a "lotion", but is really more of a liquid.
B) This product also has a strong medicinal/liniment smell to it.... the smell doesn't bother me a bit, but other people may not like the smell.
C) This product may stain various clothing items or fabrics it comes into contact with, so wear clothing you won't mind having stained!

I have lived with chronic pain from neuropathy for 18 years. Although my doctors have recommended the standard presciption of a base dose of Fentanyl with a bolus of extra Fentanyl when I have breakthrough pain, I am now using Zheng Gu Shui for breakthrough pain. Most of the time this analgesic helps enough for me so I don't scream with the pain. I highly recommsnd this as an additon to the medicine kit for anyone with chronic pain. Of course, depending on the source of the pain, this may not work. I have found it amazingly effective for both muscle and nerve pain relief. It is worth the try!

This is a chinese liniment; basically menthol and camphor with some magic herbs thrown in. As an aging guitar player, I spray it on the backs of my fingers and hands, both before and after playing. It definitely helps.
Just don't get it in any mucus membranes; you'll regret it.

I had this item recommended to me by a friend after I had strained a muscle in my wrist from weightlifting. Following directions, I applied it and at first I thought it was going to be similar to tiger balm because as it soaked into the affected area, it began to feel warm, but not overly so. I have tried tiger balm in the past and it did not work for me. Using Zheng Gu Shui I began to feel relief. I applied it three times the first day and once the second and I was amazed to find that the pain in my wrist was completely gone! I went back to the gym on the third day and was happy to find that my wrist gave me no trouble at all during or after my workout. I have recommended this lotion to 2 of my friends, one of them a weightlifter and they were both very pleased with the results. As with any item, it may not work for everybody, but it did for me and my friends. For the price, you have to give it a try!

A co-worker noticed the severe bruising on my forearms from carpal tunnel and brought this stuff in for me to use on it. I thought she was crazy but she said it was amazing stuff. Sure enough, within a few days my carpal tunnel wasn't bothering me a bit anymore. It's not on the list of uses for this stuff but I reccomend it to everyone that will listen that has carpal tunnel. My father also used it to help with pain from cancer last year and it was the only thing that worked (he hand tonsillar cancer).

I was first exposed to this stuff in my martial arts training as an after-exercise ointment to help speed muscle recovery and alleviate soreness. After offering some to a few coworkers, I know have an almost steady business supplying this for everything from backaches to arthritis and tension headaches. It provides a deep, soothing heat that evaporates muscle pain, though I can't speak for its miracle cures on anything else that I've been told about. Its cheap, and a tablespoon or two is enough for a large area. It is water based, so it dries quickly and doesn't feel like slime, but it does stain easily, so take care not to spill it, but otherwise, this is the best I've found.

I have been in martial arts for 10 years and this stuff is indispensible. If you do a lot of activity that damages muscles or joints then this product is for you.

My acupuncturist prescribed this for me. It goes to work within seconds, and provides more relief than anything else I have tried, and that list is long.
If you are looking for something for pain relief, give this a try. It is certainly worth the price.

This is a great product, it has an icey / hot effect that lasts for hours. It releives pain! It's very resonable in price. What more could you ask for?

I am having some tendons or joint pains in the elbow. Some time, after hiking I have some muscle or again joint pains. I had great hopes but I cannot say I felt any better after using this product.
