I had never seen these until a few weeks ago and I finally tried one, thinking it might work on my shoulder length hair. It's awesome! It holds my hair in place for twists or it can hold the top half of my hair back for some cute looks, as well. I have this in Black and Silver, and it is perfect for casual or dressy hair. It's sturdily made and and seems to be of good quality. Plus, it's the first hair accessory that my stylist has ever liked. He complimented me on it and said that normally he hates hair accessories but this one is nice. Definitely try this if you're looking for something out of the ordinary that's versatile.

They're pretty and practical. I ordered a burgundy one to see if I liked them. My hair is real fine and hard to keep it from slipping out of a holder, getting in my face and annoying me. Once the layers are all grown out it should work better; then I may order another one with larger beads.

I really love these combs. They look great in the hair, however they are not made for thin straight hair. Here they tend to slip though the hair and eventually fall our. I could imagine they hold a little better on thicker hair.
