This is the base toy for all of the Zhu Zhu or Go Go pets sets... It is the hamsters house.. They know what room they are in and act accordingly.. Brush teeth in the bathroom and sleep in bed.. This set has kept my children entertained for hours!!! It has gotten me out of having to buy a real Hamster and when they don't feel like playing with it - they don't have to or feel neglectful. No smell and no buying food.. I can not wait for the babies and outfits to come out. They be expensive right now because of the high demand. but still well worth it. Enjoy!!!

My daughter wanted these after seeing them advertised on TV numerous times. If you buy the toys for regular price at Wal-Mart or ToysRUs then it's not so bad because they are very cheaply made. The funhouse comes unsnapped frequently--very cheap plastic parts. The hamster ball is also cheap and comes unsnapped, and the hamsters flip on their backs frequently and you have to open the ball and put them back on their feet.

The hamsters themselves are cute BUT they flip over alot when used with the component pieces and you have to put them right side up to work. They are also a bit noisey--you can hear the wheels. My daughter lost interest in them very quickly. Paying more than the base price for them is paying way too much---especially the component pieces. She has the funhouse, the blanket, the carrier, the ball, the surfboard, and the car, plus all 4 hamsters. We bought everything at once.

In summary, don't pay these outrageous prices for a cheaply made toy!

My daughter saw this on T.V. and had to have it. She got it for her 7th birthday. The hamster is cute, and she still plays with that (on the hard wood floor - doesn't run well at all on carpet). However, I also bought her this funhouse along with the garage (worst piece) and the wheel. When you put it all together (which is not easy), the toy is huge. I don't really have the room for a big piece of plastic toy of this size, but I was willing to get it for her because it is all she wanted. Big mistake, you can't move it once you get it together or it falls to pieces. Sometimes the pieces just come apart. The garage never worked, and the wheel ramp never fit together correctly. This toy is such a waste of money. Holiday shoppers are getting scammed this year! Thank goodness I did not pay these ridiculous prices for this toy. I bought mine at Toys 'r us before I even knew it was going to be a big deal. To sum up - the hamsters are cute, but the rest is big, plastic junk that has now been under my daughters bed since the day after she got it (5 weeks ago) and has not seen daylight again.

My daughter had been asking for a hamster since she'd seen the movie G-Force. It wasn't happening since we already have a dog, cat and a fish. I'm tired. Anyway, I felt like this was the next best thing to getting another animal. after reading a lot of the reviews on this, I didn't have high hopes for this, but we went on and bought it anyway, and boy I am glad we did. She loves it. We bought this at the same time we got our first zhu zhu pet and boy, I tell ya, this is really cute. No it is not the best piece of workmanship, but hey, it's a toy, so I don't take it very seriously. It took a few minutes to figure out how to get the connectors to lock into the tunnel, but I eventually got it and it fits very securely. It is really cute the way the zhu zhu scampers thru the rooms and tunnel while making all kinds of cute noises. We are very pleased with this. Sometimes the pet gets stuck in the tunnel or falls on his side, but again, that means you just need to sit it up again and it just takes off zipping around. I'd rather it sometimes get hung or fall over and require some intervention from my daughter than for her to sit and just watch while doing nothing. After all, that keeps her engaged and interacting with her new "hamster".

I bought two zhu zhu pets for my 5 yr old, (Num Nums & Mr Squiggles) plus the fun house, adventure ball, sleep dome, and hamster wheel add ons. Thankfully, I made all my purchases before the outrageous prices and waiting lines. On Christmas morning, my five-yr-old was only interested for about 10 minutes and then went back to her Barbies. My 9 month old loved watching the hamster run around the kitchen floor, but once in the adventure ball, the hamster kept turning on its side every few minutes.

The fun house and add ons fit together OK for me, but it's cheap plastic, and the hamsters got stuck when trying to get in and out of the hamster wheel. The funhouse and add-ons don't add any value to the pet. You are supposed to be able to hear the pet make sounds that match where they are at in the "house", but most of the sounds are similar, so my daughter didn't even take notice.

Overall, the hamsters by themselves are cute and worth the $8 I paid, but I'd forego the funhouse and add-ons. They are a waste of money, and too time-consuming because you have to "help" the hamster every few minutes by turning it back on its wheels. Buy the hamster and just let it run around on the kitchen floor for 15 minutes of fun.

This is kind of a must for your kid that owns a zhu zhu hamster. The hamsters know where they are and make all the proper motions, potty flushing and teeth brushing in the bathroom, etc. It does fall apart easily, but, for the most part, the kids set it up and take it apart as they go along so it's not a huge deal, just a little frustrating.

I bought these zhu zhu pet tubes along with a few other attachments or my child's birthday, this summer. The pets are great and I have no issue with the animals. However, I think these tubes are a waste of money. Each tube/circle comes in several pieces, which snap together with plastic couplings. These are hard to push together to snap in place - my 4 year old cannot do it on his own. Some of them just won't snap together, making the pieces only partially attached. The pets also get stuck on the joints and won't go anywhere. It's hard to move the structure once put together as they fall apart. They are also quite bulky, so hard to store. After the first week, my son no longer plays with them and uses the pets on the floor or with his other toys. It seemed like a cool toy and cute - but I say it's not worth the money. Unless they have made improvement in the design - spend your money elsewhere.

I bought this toy for my 4 year old daughter and wish I hadn't. It is cute in theory, but it falls apart easily, even when I tried to stick it all together with tape. It takes up quite a bit of room to just have the hamsters running through it. I was not impressed at all. I think it's more fun to have the hamsters running around the real house!

I bought this for my grandchild....cute, but the plastic locking devices that should hold the top and bottom plastic pieces together to form the funhouse, don't stay together...big disappointment.

This is a great accessory. The kids really enjoy it and play with it often. Keeps the pets from getting lost too. My daughter says when in it they make specific noises in each room but not sure if that is true or just her imagination. Will have to investigate further and report back. Either way, the kids think it's great.
