I really love Zhu Zhu Pets. I bought this for myself. I have a lot of fun with them. I definitely recommend this items due to the fun factor. Kids, and adults, have a lot of fund with these hamsters. And, they are cleaner than real hamsters, lol.

Unfortunately I originally ordered this item, along with several other Zhu Zhu Pets for my cat. It wasn't until they arrived that I saw the warning on the hamster itself "Keep Away From Hair", that I realized it might be harmful for my "long-haired" kitty. So rather than pay the cost of shipping them back, I'll just give them to "Toys For Tots" at Christmas. They are fun to play with, though, so some child most likely be very happy with them.
