This is my review on the Zhumell 1.25" Wide Angle Eyepiece. This EP is one of a set of 3 that Zhumell makes. They are 20MM 14.5MM and 9MM. I have the 20 and 14.5MM.
Let me start off by saying, that for the price, this EP is very good quality. I use it on my Zhumell 10" DOB and I have not seen any ghosting or distortion of any kind. With the 20MM I can very easily see the Andromeda galaxy along with the companion galaxy in one view. The Double Cluster in Peruses is just amazing as well as the moon. Deep sky is just awesome as can be. I can't begin to describe that you just have to see it. The quality of these Eyepieces are very well done. They are coated to provide great contrast, and they do so quite well. Zhumell, is fast becoming a very good Astronomical equipment company. Of all the Zhumell products I have used not one bad one or complaint any where. So, if your looking for a good eyepiece that doesn't cost a lot, then get this you won't be disappointed. |
