I really enjoyed it and the triangle shape also cuts down on hand cramps when using it.

I'm talking built-ins, ceiling, trim, walls, doors, AND cabinet paint, so I needed a more effective corner or trim brush.

This brush makes it easy to get paint into those tough nooks & crannies (like the corners of dental-style crown molding).

I never write reviews although I certainly read them but was so happy with this paintbrush that I needed to share. This paintbrush is the best. I no longer need to tape around the woodwork - the brush easily glides, making straight lines. I painted a kitchen with woodworking on the walls and this brush was amazing. You need a steady hand but this brush makes it easy. Cuts down on painting time. I ordered a spare just in case they discontinue it! Friends think that I have hired a professional. Can you tell that I like it? Worth the money.

This is a well made brush, bristles are Tynek-type filaments, densely packed and well secured into the ferrule, it holds a lot of paint considering its size.

It works great for corners and cutting in around trim, especially in tight areas. For doing longer runs I have better results with a larger, stiffer brush though, such as 3" Purdy pro-extra glide or Corona excalibur chinex.. I find it more difficult to hold a straight line with this one so I have to work slower, especially on ceilings.

I would probably give this brush 5 stars if it were made out of the stiffer chinex filaments rather than tynek, that would make it easier to hold a precise line and also easier to clean.. getting all the paint out of the center of this brush can be somewhat difficult.

I'm no professional painter, but I painted a lot in the first home we owned and now we've purchased a house that we are completely redoing. We are priming and painting every surface that can be done in the house. I'm talking built-ins, ceiling, trim, walls, doors, AND cabinet paint, so I needed a more effective corner or trim brush. I was previously using the Wooster Short Cut, which I've been using for years, but this is a huge job and having to be done over a short period of time. I only painted when I wanted to change up a room in the past. So, I opened this brush up yesterday and started cutting in on the wall where it meets the textured ceiling. It worked perfect. The tip is much sharper and smaller than the shortcut, so it allowed me to get right up in the groove between the wall and ceiling for a seamless job. I cut in around the windows, door trim, and cabinets as well with ease and perfection. We removed the baseboards because we are putting in new flooring as well, so I can't review on how well it works there, but I would bet just as well. It took a little getting used to holding the fatter triangle shaped brush, but I got used to it and actually think it's more comfortable to hold. I'll be repainting the door and window trim in the next week or so and will update my review to reflect my thoughts on that part of the job with this brush. My overall all advice as of now is, don't be afraid to try this brush because it looks strange. I wish I would have tried it several years ago when I first saw it. It would have made all my projects come out more perfect and saved me some stress. I hope this helps!

Purchased this triangle paint brush to determine whether the shape of the brush (bristles) would facilitate my painting crisp lines alongside the ceiling free hand. Undoubtedly, with a bit more experience, and acquiring the required skill, the triangle paint brush may have assisted in my search for the perfectly crisp straight line. I wasn't enamored with the paint brush. Preferring a skinnier handle, the Zibra triangle paint brush didn't grip comfortably in my rather small hands. I can’t hold the brush responsible for the latter. Only on my lack of patience and my penchant for an angled 1 ½” or 2” Purdy paint brush. The Zibra brush itself is a quality brush. Given proper post-paint cleaning and provided the dry brush is kept stored in the box it came with (to maintain its triangular shape), this brush will last.

We are in the process of repainting several rooms in our house. I am VERY picky about the way the edges and corners look. This brush has been fantastic and it has great coverage. I don't cut-in, I tape the ceilings and woodwork, but it does a great job edging as well. it's very good quality and can be used again and again (we are on our 4th painting job). The only reason I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because it is hard to clean. It's a think brush and paint gets in the interior. If you don't do a thorough job cleaning it, the brush will be stiff for the next use because of paint in the center. As long as you take the time to clean it well, I highly recommend!

I didn't buy this brush at Amazon...BUT...I wanted to share my opinion of it. I have been painting for more years than I want to admit to and I have to say this is the best dang brush you can own for trim work, including very narrow corners or spaces between windows etc. They have a round brush too which I intend to purchase. GREAT product!

Thought that any old brush made to apply latex would be fine for refreshing the window sills, trim and molding and also the baseboards and door frames all around our house, with a good quality white semi-gloss paint. WRONG... we purchase a few other latex-paint specialty brushes at HD, but were just not satisfied with the streaky result we were getting from the other brushes.

Based on the reviews we read, we decided to spend a couple bucks more to get a couple of these Zibra brand brushes -- and that was an excellent decision (even my wife applauded the choice, and that does not happen all that often...)

These brushes are just different from the others we tried; they seem to be packed with more bristles and the edge of the bristles is very precisely cut (it has a great line). Have been painting with these for about 2 weeks now, maybe 40 to 50 actual painting hours, and have been amazed at how much paint the brush holds, how evenly the coat lays down, and how streak-free the coat dries. Have been painting over previously painted wood, previously painted drywall, and recently puttied or spackled areas that needed repair --- and the end result has been excellently consistent.

This brush makes it easy to get paint into those tough nooks & crannies (like the corners of dental-style crown molding). It has a standard-length handle which is excellent for use in those hard to reach places, and i hope that Zibra will consider producing one with a stubby handle too (really would use that for the close-up, tight places too). As another reviewer mentioned, the control that these brushes offer make it so that I did not have to use painters tape anymore. As long as I was not too tired to keep a steady hand, these brushes worked right along with me and laid down a nice, even line.
