i have used this gel for several years now and it has been amazing for me. i have had allergies all of my life and chronic sinus infections for most of it. when i found this product, i had been taken off of allergy shots for a couple of years and had recently realized that i could no longer take antihistamines or decongestants. i saw sinus surgery looming for me.

i tried zicam and at first thought it wasn't doing much, but i kept on using it and after several weeks the change was dramatic. not only would it clear my sinuses almost completely within an hour of use, but they were staying clearer than they ever had in the past. furthermore, since finding this product and using it for several years, i have broken the lifetime cycle and had no sinus infections. this is something that i would never have dreamed of being possible bar surgery.

i try not to ever run out of this stuff and even when having no problems use it once a day and often to my surprise my sinuses had filled up a bit in the night.

i have suggested it to friends and family and had it work for many of them if they gave it enough time and followed the instructions (it is important i feel to get it up in the sinuses as much as possible).

if you have similar problems and have tried everything else, you might wanna give this a shot!

I wish I could give this product 5 stars! For convenience, affordability and ease of application, I would give it 5 stars! I use other products by Zicam with great aplomb. If you don't typically get migraine headaches, then you are probably good to go with this one. If you only get migraines once every 6 mos or more, then proceed but pay attention to effects.

However, I have been suffering with migraines for 40 yrs and I know my triggers and my syndrome very well. I have used this product several times this allergy season. It works almost immediately to alleviate my allergy symptoms, but within 4-6 hrs, I have consistently developed a very painful migraine requiring medication. I suspect that the Zicam product is invoking what the lab techs call a "rebound response". When it goes to work, the vascular system shrinks down in the sinus region, but once the Zicom wears off, everything opens up dramatically. This is the painful part of a migraine cycle. Using more Zicam only makes the rebound effect even worse.

So if you suffer from migraines, be alert for this problem and prepared to deal with it. Hope this info helps the company refine their formula. It's a good company with an excellent product line, overall.

I'm switching to a different topical allergy product. Natra-Bio Homeopathics Cold & Sinus Spray - .8 oz

Its been a really tough allergy season for me. I spent the past few weeks sneezing every few minutes. I had itchy eyes, an itchy face, and a stuffy/runny nose. Claritin alone did not help. After the first day of using this product with Claritin, I can honestly say that I feel a lot better. As with any treatment, your mileage may vary depending on how sensitive you are to the ingredients, but I highly suggest giving this stuff a try.

I've been taking Zicam Seasonal Allergy Relief for months now, but still have congestion and itchy eyes associated with allergies. It does help, however, if you have congestion in your wallet -- clears it right out! I've used the product as instructed but have noticed NO effects. Will be switching to Nasalcrom shortly...

I was a little nervous using this product initially, but when I woke one night and could not breathe through my nose, I tried the product. It worked fast and I almost immediately went back to sleep. It allows me to breathe at night so I can get my rest. I don't know of any side effects.

I have used Zicam for years, and recommended it to many people. To the best of my knowledge it has worked every time anyone tried it. It is a cure for a cold. It isn't a cure for allergies, but helps though. Killing bacteria that can aggravate allergies into a cold . I have used it when I had a full blown cold and it is gone in about 2-3 days. I have also used it when I felt a cold coming on and never get the cold. Use as directed is all I have to say, other than it is the cure for the common cold. The Zicam I use is in a red/orange box.

I have had a hard time finding this product in the stores. I thought it had been discontinued. But I found it at Amazon.com and I was pleased. It really helps with the nasal congestion I have during this time of year.
