"Love Is My Religion Live" is nearly two hours of goodness. First off, the sound and picture quality are awesome. I own a lot of reggae dvds, many of which are of questionable quality. This dvd ranks among the best as far as technical quality. Second, I was amazed at how many songs Ziggy tears through in this concert. He covers many of his earlier hits, as well as plays a good many songs from his latest album. Additionally, he plays several Bob Marley songs. This concert is fairly long, which is a very good thing. Lastly, Ziggy and his band put a nice twist on many of the songs rather than just stick to the studio versions.

This dvd is so good that it's ridiculous. Reggae fans, Ziggy fans, and Bob Marley fans should all check this concert out. It is truly one of the best concert dvds around. Jah bless!

I love this DVD! If you are a Ziggy fan, you will be very happy that you bought it. If you are a Bob Marley fan I also recommend this DVD, because Ziggy's performance at the Avalon in Hollywood (in which he does some "Bob songs") really does justice to Bob Marley's legacy. Ziggy may not have as many great songs as Bob, but in this performance he displays a passion that really hits-home. "Love is my Religion" is an awesome song and Ziggy sings it in a way that makes it feel like a spiritual experience. I think Bob would be very proud of how far his son has come as a musician and as a messenger for peace. The quality of the recording is very good too... and the option for 5.1 surround was a big plus too.

I attended the concert at the Avalon in December 2006. This DVD brought back the memories of how much fun I had that night, it also reflects the great energy from Ziggy and his band! The behind the scenes stuff on the DVD is a nice addition!

Excellent dvd; the sound and video quality is fantastic. My only (small) complaint would be that "Black Cat" and "Beach in Hawaii" were not a part of it (two of the best songs off Ziggy's "Love is my Religion" album). A must have for any true reggae fan; Ziggy knows how to bring it, and the band is incredible too.

Great DVD. I have him on my Ipod with the Love is my Religion Video and the song, but to be able to watch the dvd on a tv screen is nice. Good quality dvd. The whole video is great. Like being at his concert. If you like Ziggy and like Reggae, you will like this, also the price is great on amazon.com

The song selection was good which kept the dvd moving. He also included Concrete Jungle which is a favorite so that influenced this review. If you have ever been to a Ziggy concert then this is probably better than the live show, with the exception of feeling of a live show. There are no guest appearences from family members.
