For my taste, the best hi-hats. It has a controlled sound and not noisy (not very sharp), not for nothing Tre Cool play with them.

The top K cymbal is fairly medium weight but the Z bottom is really heavy. The bottom looks like an original Dyno Beat (not a Z3) and if my memory serves me correctly it came out in the 80's. It looks to be unlathed and has circles that look like they are engraved in a pattern from the center to the edge. Unlike the top cymbal the bottom has a reflection finish. I thought my 14" Paiste 2002 heavy hi-hats were loud, but these are much louder so they may not be suitable for all types of music. Even playing them with the foot sounds loud. The good thing is I can always buy a bottom K cymbal and switch out the Dyno if I need something for lighter situations. Overall the craftsmanship is really good and I would recommend them.
