Since im a beginner, i liked these alot. They sure can take a beating too. I've had them for 5 months and i bought them used and they are still in alright condition. Im getting z custom dyno beat hihats to replace them but i like them still i am still going to use them.
Also, compared to Sabian b8 14 hats, i liked the ZBTs better. So if your a beginner on a budget, these are the hi-hats for you. You wont be disappointed.

are these the cheapest? no, but they are the lowest priced hi hat's i have sampled with the best sound. are they the best sounding, perhaps not but very decent at a fraction of the cost.

i have had these hihats about a year and there are no defects. one thing i dont like about them is that they dont have a really tight chick. they are a little bit loose but that could be the stand i have. you should definitely buy these hats if your on a tight budget.

My name is RObert, I play Deathcore/Melodeath/Blackdeath. Been playing 6 years. Bought these recently(ish), and I'm pretty satisfied. Of course, when I was buying these guys, I knew these were not the A's I play on on my school's kit, but i still love the sound and quality Zildjian put into these, especially for the price. I mean, dont expect audio gold, but expect something cheaper than pro-models. And yes, if in a toss up between these and the meinl's you can pick up for 15-20 less, just go with these. The meinls are good, but these are better.
