4.0 out of 5 stars It was pretty good
I bought one of these from a friend (barely used) and i would say, this thing could take a beating. Pretty good for beginners, and a price like that you just have to get it. One thing beginners should never forget, i learned this the hard way with this cymbal, "Never flip a cymbal upsidedown on a stand and hit it". Yeah, i was a 'nooby' (i guess you could say) at cymbal...

3.0 out of 5 stars After 5 months of playing it cracked so bad that its unplayable.
I mean, I guess it sounds good and is a pretty good price, but this thing just broke so much faster than I thought it would last. I would honestly shell out the extra cash for an A custom ,that way it will last longer.

One thing beginners should never forget, i learned this the hard way with this cymbal, "Never flip a cymbal upsidedown on a stand and hit it". Yeah, i was a 'nooby' (i guess you could say) at cymbal knowledge, but mines now cracked in two places, but it sounds almost exactly like a brand new Sabian B8 20" ride. Worked pretty well as a crash too, until it cracked of course.

i play music from hardcore bands like Asking Alexandria and then turn around and play soft rock like Maroon5. it sounds great for crashing and riding (for any rock music and others music i guess) and will put of with lots of abuse without cracking.

Can't beat a Zildjian cymbal at this price! QUICK shipping too. Could have been packaged a little better...

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible quality and sound, July 9, 2011
This review is from: Zildjian ZBT 18-Inch Crash Cymbal Ride (Electronics)
I have been playing drums for 28 years now. Started with Zildjian back in the day and then went to Sabian and Paiste. I started jamming for fun again with some locals who have a set at their practice space,I didn't want to leave good cymbals so I picked up used this 18" and a 16" ZBT, as well as a 18" Paiste 303 crash. The ZBT's are the worst sounding cymbals I have EVER played. Trash can and broken glass style sound.. Shame on Zildjian.. Go Sabian B8,Meinhl,or Paiste 303 if you want to go cheap, as least they sound like cymbals.
