if you are in the market for new cymbals and don't have a million bucks to spend or are new to drumming i would recomend these. zildjian has been around forever and have a name that demands high quality equipment. great price for a good product. i would recomend this to any of my friends.

Got this but was a bit wary since some of the reviews were not so good. I was very happy to see it come in unscarchted and shiney. Good sound for lower end symbol. The band I manage needed a new symbol ASAP and this was a good quick replacement. So far nothing bad to say. Still is great after a few months.

If you do any live shows or recordings, STAY AWAY!!! They sound trashy and bend under heavy use. More like a trashcan lid. less like a quality product. I've used Zildjian since September 1998 and I decided to replace some broken and absent pieces from the kit. This was a mistake.

Its a beginner cymbal with a beginner sound, my advice is buy something expensive in the beginning you'll save more money that way. I just bought a Bosphorus ride and it sounds better than any Zildjian.

I wanted a clear crispy crash sound but this one was literally very thick and gave me more like a ride sound. It may be perfect for other people but was not for me. At least this cymbal should be very sturdy.

It is good for light playing but gets inverted easily. And are now damaged beyond repair. Other wise they are good cymbals.

Overall this is not a bad option for an entry level cymbal. It's price accordingly and will get the job done. Someone with more years playing and a good ear will definately be turned off by the tinny sound but it delivers pretty well. It does not fade as quickly as advertised but is a brillant crash. If you used this for practice or thrashing while not wanting to damage your "good" cymbals this is the way to go.

Pros:
Priced right
Sturdy, good for heavy play
Looks good

Cons:
Does not fade as quickly as advertised
Tinny and unbalanced feel compared to cast bronze

i bought this cymbal a little over a month and a half ago, it is starting to show a little wear and tear with the exception of the fact that i am somewhat of an aggressive drummer, however the price is great and this cymbal does sound nice. i would recommend this cymbal to anyone looking for an affordable practice/performance cymbal. I will also say that it provides the right amount of volume while providing one of the best sounds for the type of cymbal. happy shopping to all, i hope this helped.
