Zinfandel and food go hand-in-hand, and the authors of this book have done a fantastic job in seducing the reader into wanting to cook with a bottle of Zinfandel close at hand. I thoroughly enjoyed the recipes: some down home and traditional, others a welcome surprise to a new way to pair food and Zin. I bought this book in 1994 after a trip to the Napa Valley. Zin is one of our favorite wines and this book is filled with wonderful, sound recipes that are great with Zin or by themselves. I've used other wines in some of the recipes and been equally happy with the results.It's a great book!
