Product Description
This retractable lanyard (sometimes called a "zinger") pins to your shirt or vest. Attach a tool (like a clippers or nipper) to the end of the lanyard. The lanyard extends about 18" and automatically retracts when you let go. For an economical but highly effective combination match this lanyard with one of our clippers. The body of this item is approximately 1" in diameter.

Not so great,

The retractable cable is o.k. but the little sleeve that keeps the loop closed is very flimsy and will move to the open position very easily. I can see me losing something my clippers in the river. I wrapped duct tape around it for now. Will probably solder it later. The kind with the spring loaded clasp like you see on surf fishing bottom rigs is much better.
