5.0 out of 5 stars Disney done good, March 19, 2002

This review is from: Zip a Dee Doo Dah (Audio CD)
I love Disney tunes and as a former band nerd, I love big band sound so this CD is the perfect mix. The collection of songs are "classic" Disney but they are all favorites. This is a calming, soothing CD and worth every penny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Guaranteed to Lift Your Spirits (& those of your kids, too!), September 14, 2000
This review is from: Zip a Dee Doo Dah (Audio CD)
For anyone who enjoys big bands and mellow vocalists, or the pure and simple joy of a Disney tune, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah is guaranteed to lift your spirits. This album enjoys an all-star line up including Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day and Benny Goodman, performing stellar hits like "When You Wish Upon A Star" and "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah", while sneaking in fantastic songs from the movies you can't find anywhere else like "Sooner or Later" and the sentimental lullaby "Baby Mine". There are also a few songs that are just pure fun like "Never Smile at a Crocodile" and "The Un-Birthday Song". And the arrangements of the songs are fresh and fun, without losing the charm of the tunes as heard in the movies. One of the greatest aspects of this album is that it appeals to (and is appropriate for) young and old alike. It's a great way to introduce your kids (who already know many of the songs) to the artists of a by-gone era. A great album for the road!! Wonderful Feeling... Wonderful Day!!
