The serviceman who was sent to hook up new TV and Blu-Ray DVD player to existing cable was sweet natured but knew nothing about electricity. When DVD player and cable box didn't work after he tried to plug them into the outlet, he insisted i had an electrical outlet problem and that I needed to call an electrician. He offered to hook things up via extention cord to another outlet. When I brought a small lamp over to the outlet he deemed defective and showed him that it worked fine, he said it must be, then, that I have a problem with the DVD player and cable box -- that they were defective. I counseled him to wait a minute or two for the DVD player to start up, and sure enough it operated perfectly.
I called Zip to discuss a partial refund since the cable was never hooked up, but they never returned my call.
This was a disaster-- a complete waste of money -- a company unresponsive to a customer's concerns and I
advise everyone to stay away!

I highly recommend this service. When the installer "Lee" showed up my son was hell bent on making sure that his new Wii was in HD. We did not have the right cable thingy and Lee drove to Target store around the corner and got the right cable. The finished credenza looks great and we are very happy with this service and Lee. Couldn't schedule installation until over a week after the television was delivered. Tech spent 30 minutes checking connections I had already made, and left.

I had Joey from zip express installation out to install my new HD TV. I am so glad that I decided to spend the money to have a professional do this for me. He was not only able to hook up my DVD player, VCR & surround sound, he programmed a fancy high tech remote for me too. I would have spent months trying to get everything consolidated on one remote. I would recommend Joey and zip to anyone. I normally do not take the time to write reviews, but I feel that the great service experience was worth sharing with others.

The Install went quick and fine. The technicians were in and out in no time and did a great job. No Complaints at all!

My experience with zip was fantastic! They listened to me describe what I wanted to do with a system and then they presented me with solutions to meet me needs. Duane did a great job with the install and made sure I knew how to use all my new toys. Luke was great with problem solving and following up. Great customer service! I recently purchased a Samsung UN46B6000 HDTV from Amazon. Their free shipping got it to me in three days which also deserves high praise.
Knowing very little (nothing!,really) about setting this TV up I contacted and contracted ZIP installation to do the job for me. I knew immediately that I made a wise choice. The lady that answered my call was obviously well trained, well informed (about the services that her company provided) and was easily able to answer any questions that I had. She guided me to a table top installation and set up an appointment for 11AM two days later. On installation day, I received a 9AM confirmation call from Aaron my installer. He informed me that I was number two on his schedule and he expected to be right on time. At 10:30AM he called to say that he had encountered some unexpected problems and expected to arrive at noon. Just before noon he phoned again to say he was five minutes away. He turned up at noon and immediately went to work. He programmed the TV,connected a new cable box, connected a new DVD/VCR recorder and a new Soundbar. He stopped to explain what he was doing and to answer any questions my wife or I had. Once finished, he took us through all that he had done and showed us how everything worked. Before leaving he made sure that eveything was cleaned up and again made a last minute check to be sure everything was operating properly and that we were satisfied. I am more than happy to rate both ZIP and Aaron five stars and to recommend ZIP to anyone requireing their services.

Other than the tech being over two hours late without a phone call, the installation of our large screen TV with all the goodies went very smoothly. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes, made sure everything worked properly, took all trash outside, etc. Well worth the price.
