Cute train set! It comes with the 3 train pieces, the track, and a nifty zip bag to clean it all up with which also converts to a playmat. Very nice! I got this for my 21 month old and she loves playing with it, and even thinks it's great to clean up!

This carrier and track set are great. My 21 month old received it for Christmas and has not stoppped playing it. We used the case to also store other toys when visiting family over the holidays. Other "famous" character wooden trains also fit on the track perfectly.

The only down side, which is very minor, is that the track does not sit flat on the play area when the case is completely unzippered as pictured. The actual zipper pull prevents the track from lying flat. Perhaps if the case were to lye flat for a longer period of time the problem would be solved, but we have only had it for a week.

For the price, compared to the same basic item fom the other "famous" wooden train character, this can not be beat.

This was the first time I saw these- 'Amazon recommends' or 'other customers who bought this'. I thought they were very neat looking, got one for nephew and santa brought 1 for 2 yo son. They are very neat and I would purchase again. I also bought the fairy one for a little girl, the dinosaur and the car for our two sons. We've only had them a few days and I can understand one reviewer saying they're not to sturdy cause their child likes to stand on them. I've already caught my 2 yo standing on dinosaur bin!! They are still very neat and I'm very happy with my purchases.

Our two and a half year old loves trains and this is an easy portable wooden train set we can take with him when we go to grandma's or to someone's house for dinner - it is cute and zips up nicely. Lots of room to add more trains or other little toys.

I bought this for my 3 year old nephew for Christmas. It's a little tricky for him to zip up, but he loved it! My 7 year old niece was interested in it too. Building train tracks is great for creativity! Love that it can be contained in one pouch!

I purchased this for a nephew as a Christmas present, and while I was able to participate in his playing with it and monitoring his playing with it throughout the day I need to state that I cannot attest to the "replay" of this toy, so please examine other reviews for this information.

The product arrived as specified and the graphics on the mat were colorful and vibrant. The track itself was a little bit of a downer, simply because some of the pieces appeared to be mismatched -- I'm not sure if this was purposeful but the interconnecting pieces on some of the track pieces appeared to have been replaced by an odd rounded sphere of plastic as opposed to the wood connectors on the other pieces.

This did lead to me overhearing someone say "He bought this used on Amazon I think." which was a tad embarrassing but nothing that really disturbs me. I did experience the same flaw that the others noted, that the track doesn't sit flat on the mat due to the zipper, as well.

Beyond that, my Nephew, at 5 years of age, seemed to thoroughly enjoy the track. This was a relief as I was unsure if it would be appropriate in this day where young children are given their parents iPhones to play Angry Birds! I would recommend it for 5 and under, definitely.

My 3 year old son loves this train set. The train pieces are magnetic and connect to his Thomas the Train pieces. Fitting the track pieces together enhances his problem solving and hand eye coordination skills. The track can be arranged into endless designs. The pieces don't always lay perfectly flat on the mat, but my son didn't seem to mind and he could still drive his trains over the tracks without derailing them. I bought this toy and a backpack zipbin with construction trucks and my son definitely loves the train zip bin the best. The tracks give him something to be creative with.

I got this to store all of my son's train items. However, it is now used to for traveling instead. My son picks a handful of toys to take with him in the bag. Once we arrive, I unzip it. He uses it for a play mat for cars and trains. It is simple but works great for our purposes.

Great carrying case that serves as a mat with tracks around small route for train set. Great price too. The carrying case makes it very easy for cleanup and storage.

My daughter plays with this train depot set daily...the set is quite durable- tracks etc...
it keeps her busy for some time...so love it.
