I bought one for my daughter's birthday who just turned 13. Once I turned it on the setup automatically started and 2 wireless networks were immediately discovered. I did have a slight problem setting it up since my wireless network had WEP enabled, but I disabled the key and then hid the SID and manually typed it in. It connected and automatically performed an update and then prompted me for the IM service to set up. Once my daughter entered her id/pw, her buddy list came up and the chatting started. The next time she turned it on, it automatically found the network without having to re-key the SID even though it's hidden. Some things she would like for later enhancements is for the screen to be in color, ability to set up a profile and an away message for herself. Also there's no way to see her buddy's away messages. She also wants the ability to change fonts but that's already targeted for the next release. All-in-all this is a great device. It gets her off the computer and enables her to chat with all her friends anywhere in the house.

this is an amazing product! it is protable and it will fit right in my purse and i can chat wherever i want! it is also free and wireless and so easy to use! it is the offer of a life time u should rele get 1!it is the koolest product 4 teens u can talk 2 ur friends all day long and in bunches at a time for absolutly no cost! im telling u it is the best!

im looking to buying thing but if i would buy it i would want to beable to hook up to aim, can i do this?
