If you want a pocket warmer that actually works when you need it, This one is for you. Here are a few tips. Don't over fill it or get fuel on the burner this will cause premature failure of the burner. Do not suffocate it. This item needs air to work properly. The pouch it comes in may not supply enough air for it to heat properly. I myself use it in a coat pocket without the pouch but don't be fooled this method could possibly cause a burn. Just use common sense. When I'm done using it. I let it cool off completely. Then I remove the burner and put a piece of plastic wrap or foil between the burner and fuel reservoir otherwise the fuel may evaporate between uses. Warning Will Robinson don't try to save money using any fuel other than lighter fluid. If you do you will be replacing the 6.00$ burner. I hope this information was helpful.

I had an old hand warmer from the 70's that could keep your pocket warm, but had a strong lighter fluid odor. I got this one for my wife, who always has cold hands. It is much easier to light than the older models and while it may not get quite as hot as the older ones, there is very little odor. The only thing that could make this better is spare burner heads (in case you drop it in water), but with reasonable care they last a very long time. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice small warmer.

Product works as claimed. Easy to start, makes heat for
claimed time easily. In short, it was what I expected.

Ordered spare burners, as those will wear out over time, and
it is nice to have a spare on hand.

I should have known. I looked at the Zippo website, but when you wish for something good sense goes out the window. Zippo doesn't make a hand warmer that will last 24 hours as the ad on Amazon advertised. I could have paid less for this item if I had ordered it from Zippo directly. Teaches me to next time to use more common sense. I bought it for a family White Elephant Christmas present. The receiver thought it was a lighter, because they had never seen a reusable hand warmer before. After an explanation as it what it was and its function, he didn't want to give it up. I guess it was a successful purchase after all, just not what I had expected.

The Zippo hand warmer works well, but doesn't get as warm as I thought it would. It is worth the price though and would purchase again. Fast delivery and product was in perfect condition.

it's really a novelty item. i work in the construction trades, and thought it would be useful during the winter. the hand warmer does get hot to the touch(if you're indoors). the hand warmers will not keep your hands warm when you're outside even if you're holding it in your pocket.
