Arrived quickly in case with official Zippo certificate. Has been working without trouble. Buy lighter fluid in advance as it does not come with this product.

I have owed Zippo lighters since my military days (1966 - 1969) and I can honestly articulate they haven't changed in quality and usefulness in all these years. My last Zippo went through the "test of time" enduring twelve (12) years of reliable service. I decided to get the Zippo Black Ice Pocket Lighter as its replacement, but any fluid model lighter would have worked (it's according to your case style). The Black Ice Pocket Lighter is durable on the inside, lights with just one flick and should last for a long time even with severe use. Like many other reviews pertaining to the exterior color; this lighter is not black and doesn't even come close to being black. The chrome exterior is slightly shaded being more dull compared to a bright chrome finish. I could care less about the fingerprints it leaves on the finish, it's a lighter not a 2.3 million dollar Bugatti Veyron. If you're looking for a reliable, durable fluid lighter, made in the U.S.A., I highly recommend any style Zippo Fluid Fueled Lighter; you won't be disappointed.

I thought the lighter was really nice. It deffinatley has a nice shine and black tint. I thought the picture makes the lighter look alot blacker then the lighter really is. It's almost all silver with a haze of black.
