This is a nice basic zippo with a nice "zippo" logo embossed on the case. Was not very impressed with the street chrome look once i had it in my hand. But that can be easily rectified with a dremel tool and an abrasive rubber wheel. The only part which i do not like is the hinge of the case. It feels a little weak and the lid shakes a bit once it is open and does not feel solid. Maybe i should have gone in for a zippo with an "armor" case but those are costlier. Have uploaded some pictures .

well im pretty unhappy about this. im sure that this is a fine lighter, if it hasnt been tampered with. do not get this from the seller "spledor inc" or whatever. first thing, the orange sticker on the zippo had been taken off and put back on. then the insert of the zippo did not match the case (2 different dates of manufacture). so parts got swapped around, great. the insert was also quite loose as well as the lid. in fact the lid was extremely loose. im not happy with any of this at all. im sure this is just as fine a lighter as any other zippo, just go with a different seller.

Nice lighter all around. However Zippo needs to tighten the hinge up. This is a problem for me with all their Zippo lighters lately. I have a Zippo from when I was in the Navy back in the early 80's which still today has a nice tight hinge. It would be great if Zippo would start making that same quality hinge again!
