This scooter is really useful. For someone who has trouble walking, this scooter has really helped me get from point A to point B faster. The only criticisms that I have about it are that the turning radius is a bit tight for navigating tight corners so you have to back up and take the corner on a wide angle, there is no lock for the backrest to stay in an upright position which causes the seat-back to collapse if you press down on it, which is a bit irritating when it happens constantly. There is no backing up beeper like they have on the scooters at wal-mart and other big department stores, which is a safety hazard. Also, the baskets that come with the scooter could be a few inches wider. They are too small to fit anything big. Another criticism is that the ground clearance is not very high so I really have to crank up the speed to get it over bumps, otherwise I get stuck and the scooter does not move and I have to put it into free-wheel mode (where I don't need the key to move it) to get it over the bump. One other thing is that the key requires a bit of force to insert and remove and that has caused cracks to appear around the ignition slot.
