This is a 2 piece wall scanning kit used to find studs and hot AC wires. Includes a StudSensor Pro which uses a patented sensor that pinpoints the edges of wood or metal studs behind walls, floors, or ceilings. Bright LEDs and an audio signal indicate stud edges. Use the DeepScan mode for extra thick surfaces¿up to 1-1/2 inches (38 mm) of drywall, paneling, or plywood, or a combination of them, and through most bare wood flooring. The AC Voltage Finder locates AC wires up to 3" deep. It finds live wires not shielded by metal, even in plastic conduit. LED blinks faster as you approach the source of AC voltage, and a bright steady LED indicates target. Locates standard 120/240 VAC household wiring. Both products are ergonomic in shape and designed to withstand daily jobsite use.
