good product and good gift

Nice pot. Used 2 times and out of order. Flimsy construction. Ordered another one, broke down after 1 year.
I don't like the idea of consuming any more harmful chemicals into my body so I bought this. The whole pot is made of zisha clay. They also give you a steam zisha tray. However, the construction is not as consistent and as good as Japanese cookers. Mine arrived with the lights and buttons working in a funny way. Also, the warm rice button is not working. No green light...

However, the construction is not as consistent and as good as Japanese cookers. Mine arrived with the lights and buttons working in a funny way. Also, the warm rice button is not working. No green light after the rice is done. I only used for 1 time with Japanese rice using the Chinese rice mode.(Update: the second time I use it, the cooker is completly NOT WORKING! I plugged in and it's just blank! Can't cook rice at all.) The rice is pretty nice. Nothing stick to the bottom so that's the good part. I'll going to contact the seller to see if they can exchange for another one for me. I love the idea but due to its flimsy construction, I would NOT recommend it.
Update: After 1 year of using it, it broke down. I believe it's the electrical circut problem. I highly recommand the Tiger or other Japanese brand. I used to own Japanese cook pot and they all still works after years of using it. Tiger 10 cup cooker is as small as this bulky rick cooker. Please go buy a reputable Japanese brand instead.

I love zisha so much, I also bought zisha speedy soup pot in amazon. The soup is delicious. Everyday, I press the button for rice cooker and soup pot. Both of them are ready to serve when we back home. It's so convenient. I recommend this product to you, if you are a busy mom like me. Three kids. Ha Ha. By the way, I also find out both of them are good choices for gift. All my friends enjoy them. Whenever I want to buy a gift, I will always end up here.
