Sure, it's not as great as the $25 paper trimmers, but it does the job. It's truly not as bad as the other reviewers said. Maybe they weren't pushing down on the plastic cutting arm hard enough while they cut? Who knows.

I used it on regular scrapbook paper, and it didn't leave any jagged edges or frays. I haven't tried it on photos, though.

If your local scrapbooking store has a good return policy, I say give it a try. You might end up saving some money :]

Very unhappy with this product. Difficult to hold the paper tight and it leaves a jagged edge, not a clean cut and I tried several different paper types. Sorry I didn't save the packaging to take it back!

I've cut over 200 pieces with one blade. Works fine with scrapbook and regular paper, and fine with photo paper as long as the blades are sharp.
Of course it is not as precise as an old fashioned full blade paper cutter they had in school.

I agree with all the other reviewers who found this to be a piece of junk. I couldn't believe how bad this trimmer really was. It tore the paper instead of cutting it. I would be embarrassed to sell a product like this. After my experience with this worthless trimmer that chewed up my paper and photos, I wouldn't buy anything from any company associated with this product .... ever!

I wish I had read the reviews on this product first! Buyer Beware!

This is my first review. The product is so awful that I just had to let other people know about it. Amazon shouldn't even sell it.

I got this peice o cr@p from a hobby store. This thing is useless. I'm taking it back tomorrow. I would never use it to cut any photos. I tried cutting paper and rather than cut it, it kind of "tore" it. I paid under $10.00 for it but I'd gladly pay triple for a product that actually works. Don't even waste your time with this.

I bought one of these trimmers a couple of weeks ago and I find it to be a lot of trouble. The guide wiggles back and forth making it very difficult to make a straight cut. You have to hold the guide down really hard to prevent it from moving and that makes it difficult to hold the paper in place while cutting. If people had three hands this would be easier to use. It's inexpensive, that's why I bought it in the first place, and the one I bought came with a very handy pair of scissors.

This ia a really GREAT product - it is inexpensive but it works wonderfully. The blades give a crisp cut easily. It is small and light making it easy to store and carry. I would highly recommend this to crafters!
