5.0 out of 5 stars Zitilites+bonus track, March 8, 2004

Why should you buy this record instead of the "original" Zitilites album??? Is the one bonus-track really worth so much... Is it not only slightly altered???? no... It is a live version of The Aftermath, where you can really sense the vibe from Kasper Eistrup and their perhaps best concert ever... live from Roskilde in front of 35000 people... so Kashmir are really in the mood here.. and I really understand why they have put this track on the jap-edition... because it is such a good track that you almost want to buy the album merely because of this track... I have the "original" zitilites-album which came out in shops 03/03/03... and when I heard that the bonus track on the jap-edition was The Aftermath (live) I just had to buy it... because I remember the best concert in my life...

Buy this album... and you will not regret it...

see ya

5.0 out of 5 stars Elite European Rock, February 11, 2004
This review is from: Zitilites (Audio CD)
If it wasn't for "Hail to The Thief", "Zitilites" would be the best record of 2003. This album is the perfect European rock album which combines power, quality performance and nostalgia to create a beautiful expression of art.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kashmir provides this Millenium its own real rock sound, February 16, 2005
By
J. H. Infante (Guadalajara, Ja, Mex) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Zitilites (Audio CD)
Danish ensamble Kashmir , with kinda Radiohead influences progresive sound , abstract lyrics , elaborated and complicated structures both musical and words, they explore all the possible capacities for acoustical strings , guitars comes first and then bass guitar and drums last , the opposite to bands such as Radiohead and Coldplay that also use electronic sections and some artificial sounds, they try to be sublime also but in their own terms instead of electronic instrumentation they rather to use more traditional resourses, after all, real , truly real rock and roll will stand for strings, basses and simple drums as long as the sound that be developed with this, owns its particular sound, the mixture of guitar riffs or rithm section and sincronicity of these traditional instrumentation need to offer something new, well Coldplay, Radiohead and now Kashmir are from my perspective the three first bands to provide this decade an identity as in 60s, 70s , 80s , and 90s different bands have provided this decades different soundtracks , lets see if this bands have more to offer or if the promisse will be not acomplish
