Product Description

Make baby mani-pedi sessions easier for both of you, with this electric baby nail file! It's super gentle, and unlike conventional baby nail clippers, it can't accidentally snip delicate skin. Best of all: it includes four nail filing pads with increasingly grittier textures, to accommodate baby's thickening nails. Oscillating nail trimmer is ergonomically designed, with two-speed operation for li'l finger and toenails. Includes compact storage/travel case. Battery included.

I would rather spend the time then accidently clip their skin.

It's easy to use and safe - I never have to worry about accidentally cutting my baby's finger tips.
Nancy Chen
Our baby loves it and so do we as it takes just a couple of minutes to file the nails down.

I really liked this the first few times I used it, but have found that on my now 4 month old baby even the heaviest grit disk (orange, I think) takes an incredibly long time to get even one nail done. And sometimes there's always a little corner of a nail that it just can't get at all. On a whim I grabbed my emory board and found it works so much better and takes about 5 seconds per nail. Also, the battery wears out in about 2 days even if I took it out when I was finished each time. Save yourself some $$ and buy a .99 cent emory board!

This is the best way to cut a newborn's nails and stop them from scratching themselves. Like many new moms, I was totally paranoid of hurting my baby when cutting his nails. However, he was born with sharp nails which needed to go. This nail filer was perfect. It comes with different filing pads for different baby ages and it worked like a charm. I tested it out on my own finger first and there was no way it would hurt baby. So much better than a regular file or nail clippers because it not only shortened the nail but it also buffed it so it wasn't sharp. I would recommend this to all new mommies/daddies.

Really like this product! Great at smoothing the rough edges and corners of my twins nails (they are 3 months). Needs to be used frequently to prevent their nails from getting too long, otherwise it seems impossible to file them back with just this tool. Between this trimmer and cuticle scissors that I use when their nails are beyond just the trimmer, I'm able to prevent their nails from turning into mini claws :)

Maybe if I had gotten this when she was younger I wouldn't think it was such a waste of money. To get any results it has to be used on the nail for quite a while longer than my baby (and probably most) will hold still. I got this so that I wouldn't have to try to cut her nails only while she was sleeping and it ends up that would be the only way she would hold still long enough. I'm sad I wasted my money.

It's great if you're "filing" your baby's nails but I would not call it a nail trimmer. I tried it on both of my kids (7 months & 2 years) and the only thing it did was smooth the edges. I made sure I was using the correct colored file. I was so excited to get this & ended up being disappointed.

Perfect for newborns and not abrasive at all! Better safe than sorry - I would rather use this than risking a cut with a baby nail clipper.

I've used this trimmer for my twins from birth to now (3 months) and it's been great. Neither baby ever seems to mind me using this, and it's incredibly easy to use when either one is nursing and really not paying attention to me. It's definitely most effective when the battery is truly fully charged, as it becomes less and less effective fairly quickly as the battery runs down (kind of an obvious statement). I did find that the 0-3mo pad didn't work too well for one baby when it worked well for the other, so use your own judgement based on your child's specific needs. Bumping up my daughter from the 0-3mo from birth to the 3-6mo didn't do any harm, as she just has harder nails.

Great product, worth the money and totally safe, especially if you don't want to worry at all about accidentally clipping your baby's finger.

I purchased this for our 6 month old after reading all of the great reviews. It did not live up to the hype for us. I can see how it would work great for a newborn whose nails are still very soft. For our older baby, it shaped the nails fine, but did not actually take off length unless used for almost a minute a nail (and for a 6 month old, this does not happen easily!).
