At first, out of the three different products I tried, these things were my favorite for our 2 yr old who seems to be working on his 2 yr molars--conventional teethers don't fit that far back. They are nice in that they come in a pair, so can rotate them or have them in different places, they have a guard to protect against overinsertion & at first seemed to be more durable than the Gum Massager by Mam Gum Massager Brush which started falling apart within days & doesn't have a guard... Until several weeks later, some of the rubber flaps are coming loose or have completely fallen off (luckily found them all & none swollowed or choked on) & now the whole rubber part is splitting in half & coming loose from the plastic part! That is a major choking hazard! Especially when the time we use it is to soothe him when he's putting himself to sleep & can't monitor him. Wish they could make them more durable as I liked them otherwise. Now my favorite is actually the Toothifier The Teethifier II as it is all one piece of rubber, has a guard, fits back into molar area on both sides at once & seems to be the most durable & is easier to clean than the other two products. The only thing is that it doesn't come as a pair, so will have to buy more for grandma's house or for when we lose it temporarily.

When my son started to work on ALL FOUR of his first molars at once, it was brutal. Regular teething rings and various teething toys just didnt reach where it really hurt. And when he DID find objects he could place far enough back to reach his sore spots (drumsticks were a favorite), they simply werent safe to be jammed in the back of his mouth and usually ended down his throat until he gagged. Enter this wonderful product! Long enough to reach the back teeth, but the handy circular guard keeps it from going any further so NO GAGGING. My son is gnawing one right now as I type this, happy as a clam for the relief it brings. I highly recommend this product to parents of teething toddlers.

I got these for my son a couple months ago. He's now going on 9 months an loves them. I have read quite a few reviews where people have complained about the length of the handles and decided to post my solution to the problem. I just put a gumdrop pacifier on the end of the handle. It keeps your little one entertained with two different textures to chew on and gives you peace of mind that he won't choke on it. Though I'm sure any pacifier with a hollow nipple will work. I hope this helps! :)

I really hoped these would work for us... I bought these when my toddler began getting her molars, and we had tried a ton of teethers but none of them could reach her back teeth... She's been in a perpetual state of teething since she was 3 months old, and had all of her teeth before she turned 2. We have owned at least 50 different teethers in this time, and there are very few teethers meant for back teeth. I was praying that these would help relieve some of her pain, and they did, for a short time. But unfortunately we had to get rid of them because they did more harm than good.

First, she didn't want to simply teethe on the chewy silicone part. She preferred the hard wand part meant to be used as a handle. But its so long that she gagged herself on it all the time. I'd take it away and try to show her the right way to use it, but she just didn't like the squishy end. She also ended up biting through the silicone part and she might have swallowed the little piece she had bitten off if I hadn't been sitting right there with her, watching her. I threw them both out after that.

Both of my sons (17 months apart) loved these! These are perfect size for their little hands and they chewed on these alot while teething. My only complaint is that they would turn the items around and put the wrong end into their mouths. This would then cause them to gag because they would shove it too far. I would like it if the handle were just a little shorter so that wouldn't happen. Overall, a great product and I would recommend to anyone with a baby!

I bought this for my 2 year old so she could chew where her back molars were coming in. I noticed after a few weeks that many of the little plastic pieces were gone. I can only assume she swallowed them. She loved chewing this, but the plastic comes off if your kid already has any teeth.

I'm a first time mom and wasn't at all prepared when my son started teething early at 3 1/2 months. I try to avoid medication when possible so I tried every method in the book- cold washcloths, breast milk pops, taggies, letting him gnaw on my hands. Nothing worked. Ive tried a couple Zoli products in the past and was happy with them so I ordered these on a whim. My 4 1/2 month old popped this straight in his mouth and held it with ease. He gummed away and it appeared to offer immediate relief. Definitely worth the money.

the longer end that is opposite the gumming piece can easily choke your child and potentially damage their soft palate area if they are not very closely supervised. How this was missed as part of design is completely beyond me.

This company did come out with a significantly improved design that I did purchase for my little teething machine and it does an excellent job when she feels the need to gnaw on something.

Here is the link to the version that I feel is a significant improvement:
