Our company buys this one whenever we can for construction installs. While negligence CAN burn them up, they are reliable and heavy duty.

I purchased this pump to replace a sewage pump that was in service since 1976. I was a little bit nervous that this pump wouldn't have the same "umph" as the old one since it was considerably smaller (although the same HP rating), but to my disbelief it actually drains the sump faster and much quieter than the old one. I'm very happy with Zoeller, they have a "they don't build em like they used to" quality about them that makes you feel like their product is meant to last. Very happy with my purchase and looking forward to many years of service!

We just replaced our last zoeller 267 which has been working since 1996. I'm very impressed with every aspect of this product except one-- part/rebuild kit accessibility. I bought a new pump, but would really like to re-build the old pump to keep as a back up. The unit is so well made that it seems like there should be kits available for rebuild. I located the schematic and found the part I wanted, but nowhere on their website is it clear how you re-order these parts. Clearly I'm not a plumber. Still, it would be nice to have this information a bit more accessible to the average consumer, especially as these pumps are so much cheaper on Amazon than at the local plumbing supply store (the store here was charging $259 MORE than the price on Amazon, not including the tax. You can get this model shipped free if you have prime)

Anyhow, I obviously haven't dinged the pump any stars because of the parts issue. This pump consistently serviced 7 bathrooms for years and did a great job. I had a flotec back up pump that died after about 4 months-- a snake wrapped around the unit apparently killed it. I know the flotecs are cheaper, but I'd spend the extra and get a zoeller.

Replaced our old Zoeller Pump with this one... The last one lasted awhile so we went with Zoeller again! The only difference is our old one had a floating shutoff valve, but we already have a separate one to use with this pump.
