First - this isn't a review of the seller or who shipped me the goggles. This is a review of the actual goggles.

I just recently purchased both a pair of the Zoggs Predator Flex polarized and predator flex mirror goggles. I recently had corrective eye surgery, and now, I have a greater sensitivity to bright sunlight conditions. I tried using my old Nike, USA Aquatics and Speedo goggles but the smaller goggles were just so uncomfortable now on my eye sockets. I don't race, but try to participate in several triathlons throughout the warmer months. And of course, I try to hit the indoor and outdoor pools a couple of times of week to stay fit. I was looking for two things: (1) a larger goggle that was much more comfortable around my eyes, and (2) dark lenses to help reduce the sun rays when swimming outdoors. For me, the "standard" smoke lenses are nowhere close to reducing the sunlight in bright conditions when swimming outdoors. The only other model I have to compare to is the Aqua Sphere Eagle models. Those were comfortable too, and I like the idea of replaceable lenses that the eagle model offers. My AS Eagle goggles came with both clear and smoke lenses. The smoke lenses were just not dark enough for outdoor swimming, so I had to return them. Overall, the predator flex goggles are slightly more comfortable than the Aqua Sphere eagle models.....especially in the nose bridge piece. The large surface area was very comfortable around my eyes - no leaking - good seal - a lot of field of view. For outdoor swimming, I like the polarized feature for reducing glare, but I found that the mirror model reduces the sunlight just a little bit more.

After reading reviews I can see that swim 2000 has a bad track record when it comes to selling these goggles. Clearly these goggles are listed as "POLARIZED" and thats what a customer should receive. Well, we received goggles that were not polarized. We contacted them directly by phone and they said that they were incorrectly listed on amazon. They said that they would send us a return label and that they would send out the correct pair after they received the first goggle. Had to contact them a couple times just to get the return label. We shipped them back but didn't receive the replacement "polarized" goggles. Contacted them again and were told that the "polarized" goggles are on backorder. I ordered these polarized goggles for my wife for a Caribbean cruise during April spring break. She ended up bringing one of her old "non polarized" goggles. She was not happy with this whole experience. We order a lot of merchandise off of Amazon and very rarely encounter problems. But, even when we do, we always resolve it with Amazon. Swim 2000 is either deceitful or has incompetent employees that can't correct a simple customer problem.

It seems swim2000 decided to send the Predator Flex Mirrored instead of the polarized version I ordered. Like a previous reviewer I was specifically looking for polarized glasses, so I didn't get what I ordered. Even with the mistake I figured I would give them a try. They are very comfortable, but much to my surprise they aren't fog resistant at all. So, I'm very dissatisfied with my purchase.

My zoggs broke in between the lens of the goggles. It's not that durable as it says. I'm so,disappointed. Speedo is better.

Why wear any of the other transparent-beer-cap looking goggles when you can wear these that obviously have been designed for...Batman!? (I got mine in anthracite-black with orange details).

Yes, these are great swimming goggles, I have been using them for over a year now and they feel and work great. They fit nicely, they stay in place without being too tight, the mirrored lenses work fine underwater and they are very effective in preventing fogging.

I love swimming and try to put as many laps I can, at least twice a week, but I am not a competitive swimmer so I would not know the first thing about lens distortion or hydrodynamics. They work for me so I keep using them.

For casual swimmers like me: Recommended!

After 2 months almost, due to the customs process, only today, may 08.2012 , i received the Goggles that had bought, after paying the equivalent of US$68 for the import tax! Yet to my surprise, the model that i received is the Zoggs Predator Flex, not the Zoggs Predator Flex POLARIZED Goggle, that i had ordered. For me, the polarized lenses are fundamental. Goggles with mirrored lenses, here in Brazil i have several options, but polarized still not. This was the reason that led me to buy at Amazon exactly the model of Zoggs with polarized lenses. The Predator Flex does not have polarized lenses, but simply mirrored !!!!!! (By Gilson Macedo Guimarães)

I've had my Polarized Zoggs Predator Flex goggles for about 5-6 months and very happy with it. Polarized lens are great for the glare off the water's surface, as no doubt, many are aware and buying what is supposed to be polarized and not mirrored.
The goggles also seal better than my speedos. I have 2 speedo goggles but prefer this zoggs, even when there's no sun issues.
If you can get your hands on the POLARIZED model, I doubt you'd be disappointed. BTW, my goggles don't fog up much but I think it's inherent in practically all goggles. Good old fashioned spit works.
