I got this Zoid the other day, and I love it! It was a cinch to put together, especially after the Geno Breaker (Which took me more than an hour). This is a close-range combat Zoid, and one of three Velociraptor-types I know of. I now have all three, having gotten a Snipe Master a while ago. The Rev Raptor is very cool looking and i saw when i saw it in the store 2 day i figured it would be fun to have for and extra Empire zoid. The color scheme for the Rev Raptor works surprisingly well. The hands can be posed several ways, such as folded against the arms or extended to tear into the Rev Raptor's enemies. The Sickles on the back are connected into the mechanism, so they move when the Rev Raptor walks. I didn't expect that, and I was pleasantly surprised. There is a peg on each arm that is designed to hold a weapon, even though none are included (I wish that Hasbro would bring over ALL the customization parts to the U.S. so I could customize all my Zoids.) I tried to fit my Zaber Fang's smaller guns on the arms, but they didn't fit. My only problem is that the thing that holds the key on seems to come off too easily. Also, like all bipedal Zoids, it doesn't exactly have a good sense of balance. It wobbles from side to side when it walks, but I expected that and it doesn't really bother me. This Zoid is awesome to look at, easy to build, and fun to mobilize. I highly recommend it. It's a great model!

Raptors rule!

The Rev Raptor is a cool model. He has 2 blades on his sides and some cool claws. He has no guns, but he does have places to put them if you have any spares. He has a stick you have to place onto his side to wind him up, and he walks very nicely. I highly sugest this zoids to beginners and experts.

4.0 out of 5 stars Battle mode 0982. Ready, fight!, July 26, 2002

Allright, let's get down to business. In "New Century Zero" the Rev Raptor is a favored Zoid of the evil Backdraft Group. The model, is okay, but not something to get all worked up about. Putting it together is somewhat simple, and not all that different from a Gun Sniper.

However, if you want to make the Rev Raptor look more show accurate, you need to do a few customizations. Here's what I did. First, I clipped off almost all of the plastic strips on the sides of the feet, and painted them, the claws, scythes, teeth, and head part silver. And then, I added the two hand guns from a scrapped Gun Sniper project. Afterwords, the Rev Raptor looked much better.

All in all, it's a good model, but it could really stand to have some work done to make it better.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's small but really cool, March 26, 2002

The Rev Raptor is a cool Zoid, but not very strong in the TV show. It's a Velocirator type Zoid, one of my favortie Dinosaurs. It walks pretty good, better then the Gun Sniper, but the Gun Sniper is still cooler. The blades move when it walks. Theres some places where you can put extra guns, the only ones I found that fit were the 2 guns on the Gun Sniper fit on the arms. Its a little bit smaller then the Sniper Gun. Pretty easy to put together, took me about 15 minutes. The Rev Raptor is a must have for all those Zoid fans who like Dinosaurs or Valociraptors.

This was my very first zoid. I would recomend it to anyone starting to collect zoids, but if you want a challange I wouldn't get it. It really durable it hardly can break(because I tryed to pull the blades off after I built it and it practicly imposible). This zoid is so totally awesome!! My bro has a ton of zoids(7 to be exact)! So go and get this zoid for a start!

I actually got the Rev Raptor at the store & not online. It's a nice looking zoid, the paint job was done nicely, it's just that most of the parts for it is very loose. the legs, the arms, the blades, and even the head. Although it's a wobbly zoid, it walks alright. there are no guns for this zoid(how can hasbro not make guns for it when there are like several areas where u can put guns!??!) There are customized parts for it on a japanese site. however, these pars are quite rare to find on the web. I actually found a site that had add-on parts for the sheild liger, pteras(the rockets that jamie has on his in the show)gojulas, and the blade liger(not the assault gattling unit). But it wuz the only site that i found that had the parts. It was very easy to put 2gether. it took me 1/2 an hour. I recomend this zoid to the one's who are just starting out!(if not u can always get a sheild liger!!)

Rev Raptor is pure genius. Rev has a snappy paint job, awesome weapons, agile speed, and well...perfection. Assembling the ZOID is strangeley harder than most basics, but it is still easy to snap together. When assembling it, turn the lights of, turn on a poseable table light, and play AC/DC's BACK IN BLACK. It just makes the experience so much more. Well, dat's jus' me. LOL. The Raptor two large plactic razor blades( painted mettalic to look authentic). It comes with no guns )-;, but it has two pegs for them on the elbow region. I highly recommend getting a Raynos w/ it and taking the two single-barrel cannons and placing them on your REV RAPTOR. +, you have a dino team! The REV RAPTOR has a unique paint job, it is metallic BLACK and MAROON. Open the cockpit and find a small pilot ( i named mine EDDIE after the afro-wearing man in SSX TRICKY. LOL). My bro use these lil' dudes as actual pilots on our " lightning strike team ". Well, back to the Rev Raptor. It's metal hands are fully poseable and moveable. It's tail cant really move. I thought it would be awesome if it converted into a sniper rifle, like a GUN SNIPER, or a charged particle cannon like BEZERK FURY...

This zoid is a close range version of the Gun Sniper with more armor and less weapons. I was suprised that the Rev Raptor came with no guns, only sythes. I would have thought they would put guns for the fore arms in the modle.
This zoid works very well. It walks well on a flat surface, it's blade move back and forth, and the claws are fully possiable. The only complant is there is a peice that snaps on to the back to hold it's key that always seems to pop off. Also Rev Raptor is very limited in different weapons you can equip. So for the only things that I have that work are Gun Snipers Machine Guns. Over all a cool Zoid. I just wish they would bring over the custom weapon packs already...
