This model's difficulty depends on how you build models. If you are a begennier I suggest you save your money and buy a Pteras or a Gun Sniper. They are easier to build, the try a Deluxe like a Command wolf, Then work up to a Zaber fang or Sheild liger, finnaly try the Liger zero or Elephander.

To Make your model look Great youll need the following.
Exzacto knife
a little bit of enamel paint (color varries on model)
brushes
Thinner
A shapie thin point marker
Batteries
A model (of course)
time
Patience
and
a snack (it helps)
Follow the directions and itll look lke the Elephander from the show.
The Elephander has two different interchangeable heads, A commander head (the one Stoler had when he leaves the Backdraft)
And the basic head (from the first Elephander episode)
He has a back mounted cannon, a radar dish, 3 interchangeble trunk peices , a bottom mounted cannon and two piolits.
When fully buit flip the switch and he walks and pulls his trunk up.
He is about the same speed as the DiBison if you have it.
I would Recommend this model to any one who likes Zoids.
If you are under 8 I suggest you get a parent to help you.

I Hope this review helped, Have fun with your model
I am.

5.0 out of 5 stars Elephander, March 27, 2002

This review is from: Zoids #038 trunckinator 1/72 Scale Motorized Action Figure Model Kit (2002 Hasbro) (Toy)
It's the biggest Zoid I've bought so far, and it's also one of the best.

Don't be intimidated by the large number of parts when you get it, nearly half of them in the box are for the extra equipment. The model has two heads and three trunk weapons that you can attach to it, which makes it much more versatile than the other Zoids, since you can mix and match the parts. I have the Fighter head with the Commander ears and weapon on mine. It took me about two hours to build the model, and though it's not that hard to build, trust me when I say that you need to read the directions carefully. Some of the steps require you to assemble the pieces in a specific order, and if you don't do it right, it won't all fit together properly. And be very sure to9 see how the parts all go together on step one...I had to take mine apart and add a part I missed twice when I built mine. Building the model is where I ran into a little problem. If you use the Fighter type head and ears, be VERY careful when you put the ears together. I put on the smallest ear piece for the Fighter type (the types have different ears), then when I tried to remove it (dumbly thinking that I put it on backwards when I didn't), I broke off the peg. When you put the pieces for the Fighter type ears together, don't try to take them apart.

Aside from that, I'm very pleased with my Elephander. Its walking motion is very smooth, and the moving trunk is very cool. It's alot easier to put together than you might think when you open the box and find some 250 or so parts staring back at you, but you have to pay attention to what you're doing.

The Elephander is the most expensive zoid out yet. It has everything it has in the show exept the missle launcher/machinegun that he uses against Liger Panzer. You can change its head from backdraft mode to federation mode.Be carful when you switch heads cause its kind of fajile and one of ths pegs might break off.Its pretty hard to build.Took me about 5 hours. For the trunk attachments it has the claw,a ground radar, and an energy sword and sheild generator.I hope this reveiw helped you.Its my favorite model....

When I first saw elephander on "ZOIDS", I thought it was gonna be one of the special Ultimute X zoids, and this zoid really shows it too! There are three different types of elephander that come with it. One of them is the fighter type (this was used during the first battle with the Blitz Team). The other is the commander type(It was used when it fought the Blitz Team the second time). The last, is radar type. This zoid comes with multiple beam cannons; about seven. It has a large claw at the end of it's trunk, and two other trunk pieces. It has a whole lot of other stuff that would take to much time to explain.

ATTENTION!!! Many of you have problems with Elephender's walking mechinism. Does it walk in circles? One of the reasons is that one of the "back" feet may be to slippery (most often the left back foot). I just put a little sticky tape on it and it walks perfectly strait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a really cool zoid, you can play with it for hours!
it has 3 changing wepons for it trunk...,mine detector, claw,
and shield. two wepons for its back...,I don't quite know the name for it yet but it is a Big gun and rotates 360, also a radar that fits somebody inside. three types of ears..., shield ears which extend, really scary pointy ears that are for the commander type head(I will tell you later), and scout ears.
also it has two types of heads...first is the commander type head the first head on the show, pointy, next is the regular type head. when it walks its trunk moves alot! it comes with two people. this is a must have zoid!

Hey Hey!!! It's me again!
The Elephander is the 2nd strongest Zoid in the Backdraft Group. (The 1st being Berserk Fury)It's #1 Rival is the Liger 0 Panzer.

The Cool thing about this guy is that he comes with extra parts

2 Different Heads (Normal & Commander)
2 Different pairs of tusks
2 Different Back weapons (Normal & Scouter)
3 Different trunk weapons (Normal, commander & Scouter)
3 Different pairs of ears (Normal, Commander & Scouter)

so you can mix and match...

It Walks via 1 AA battery. it took me 3 hours to build. It was hard but I've built harder ones such as Berserk Fury, Geno Breaker & Geno Saurer.

If you do get this model, I'd reccomend getting CP-15 The Assault Gattling Unit (As shown in the Panzer episode). ...

The Elephander is one of the coolest models. It has 3 different modes and 2 different heads. As it walks its trunk moves up and down. It can even walk on carpet. It has lots of guns, and some neat trunk pieces. I'm glad I added it to my collection.

The mighty Elephander is an awsome high preformance Zoid. It may be a little harder to make than the rest, but it's definetly worth it. It comes with two different faces, three different ear attatchments, three different trunk attatchments, two different back attachments and to top it all off it runs on batteries instead of [...bad] wind-up. It walks and its trunk moves just like the real thing. If you want to have fun, or if you're a collector, this is the Zoid for you! Like many Zoids Tomy makes conversion parts for this Zoid.

And I thought I was going to be in for a challenge. This Zoid was pretty easy. It only took about two hours to put everything together, just like my Deathsaurer, Gojulas, and Genobreaker. The size is also somewhat of a disappointment, I thought it would be at least a few inches bigger than it really is. But enough about the bad points, on to the good points. This Zoid was pretty fun putting together, because it does make you think about how things go together. It's also good because it walks on the carpet rather well, but it keeps moving to the left, and going in large circles. If you're looking for a good Zoid to build, I suggest the Elephander. But if you're like me, and looking for a real challenge, and you've built other Zoids, then don't get your hopes up to high, you might be in for a disappointment.

You should really buy it.It has 3 changeable setting Commander type,Fighter-type,and Scouter type.It has a 98mm gun(on left) and 95mm gun(on right). You can put on the the Scouter type radar and the 2 pilot if you don't like the gun.Has 2 sets of tunks,2 changeable ears, and 3 changeable componets for the trunk. This zoid is piloted by Soiler of the Backdraft group. The zoid dosen't need to be controled by u, it can be controled just by your voice.
This zoid has a lot of parts, but I'm sure u can make it through.Anyways it's pretty cool when it's done.Personally the Elephander should be an ulimante-x,but it's not.The Elephander nearly creamed the Liger0-Shnider, but it nearly lost.To bad it's so slow, but that dosen't really matter. So far I only know of a couple of attacks, but I least I know them. They are:
A sword slash
Head Butt
Gun fire
Shield
By the way if you really want to know something, every shield can be shut down or destoryed by 3 shots by a Gun Sniper sniper rifle.Well, every shield exect the Death Stinger's.I hope my review was helpful to you and you learned more about the Elephander.
