5.0 out of 5 stars Zoids: The first DVD
This DVD is the same episodes(the first few) that is/was being aired on cartoon network (at 4:30 every monday-friday). It starts out(the first episode) with a boy(16 i think) who comes to a battlefield (against the blitz team vs. the Tigers Team)where he tries to steal some parts from the battle. The batttle is cancled by leon, and is reschelded. He comes back later, and...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but lacking something...
This DVD is not one of the best made. It doesn't have Subtitles and it isn't even in any other language. Not even the animation is up to par. I watched the show on TV and even the animation on it was better. At times it seem that the producers had skipped over scenes to save money[in the 2nd episode the liger does strike laser claw and all it shows is it hitting the...

5.0 out of 5 stars Zoids: The first DVD, February 5, 2002
By A Customer
This DVD is the same episodes(the first few) that is/was being aired on cartoon network (at 4:30 every monday-friday). It starts out(the first episode) with a boy(16 i think) who comes to a battlefield (against the blitz team vs. the Tigers Team)where he tries to steal some parts from the battle. The batttle is cancled by leon, and is reschelded. He comes back later, and is caught, they tie him up. When they leave the area hes in, a zoid named ligerzero cuts him free, and ligerzero lets him pilot him. Later bit ran into the rescheled battle, and registers as one of the members of the blitz team, beats the Tigers team, and basically thats episode number one on this DVD!

I'm not sure if this DVD will also have the subtitled (langauage is japanese, but has english words on the bottom) version or not. Hopefully, it will be unedited!

5.0 out of 5 stars Zoids-Battle Begins, June 13, 2002

This series is cool. The first episode(the battle begins)is the first episode you see the Liger0.At first we find Bit(16)a junk dealer looking for parts when he finds a battle going on.The Blitz team vs. the Tigers team ready fight!A shield liger, command wolf, dibision, and a few zabers are in this battle. The shield liger(blitz team)trips over Bit's sleath truck and calls a battle cancel. The battle postpodned tell the next day.Bit goes to the base of the Blitz to apoligize but in the way gets caught. He meets the Liger0 which no one can pilot and turns otu that the Liger cuts him free and lets Bit pilot it which they run off.In the battle the next day Bit shows up in the middle of battle and turns out to win it.He is then registered as a warrior for the Blitz team.Other episodes in this Vol. are New Partners vs. Namoi the Red Comet which Bit fights Namoi and her awesome Gun Sniper,The Price Arrives:Harry Champ who trys to win Leena's love but she uses Bit and a battle turns on,and Unsanctioned Battle:The Mysterious Backdraft Group where you firs meet this group who like to bend the rule and win but loose. You should buy this with funny and great episodes.

The first few episodes are good and inform you of the characters, but the last few episodes are by far the best. It's not as thought provoking as titles like Gundam Wing but it's still fun to watch. This is wonderful for children and people who just enjoy anime, especially if you like more comedic anime with a bit of action.

5.0 out of 5 stars Zoids tseinsheki /0, May 29, 2002
Of its great. If you've never seen it before and think its stupid than I suggest you check it out on Cartoon Network. This Zoids show is actually called Zoids tseinsheki /0, I think. They changed it to just Zoids to make it easier. Also the reason they restart it after the royal cup is 'cause it did not do that well in japan and ended after last royal cup episode. The show which is also called Zoids, actually Zoids Chaotic Century, that comes on at 6:30 AM, God knows why, was much more popular in Japan. Ifyou are wondering which came first the answer is Chaotic Century. Not only in terms of the story but in real time also. Chaotic Century occured several hundered years before /0. Check it out. I'm just waiting for the Chaotic DVD. If you have any questions about 'organoids' and why both the Liger 0 and Zeke(Chaotic) both happen to be one I'd be happy to answer any questions emailed to me.

This review is from: Zoids - The Battle Begins (Vol. 1) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video was great. Zoids is the best show on Cartoon Network. The way they animate these giant machines is excelent! I wish that this video had been available sooner. I just loved this video and I hope any other Zoid fanatic does to.

I got this video for the program I work for. The boys like it as much as the Pokemon video because they keep watching it over and over again, until the boss hid it and replaced it with a Disney video. I got "Zoids, The High Speed Battle" today to bring to work tomorrow. It's also the first video the boys have asked to borrow to take home and watch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Where's The Box Set?!?!?!?!?!, February 26, 2006
A Kid's Review
I absolutely love this series! It had interesting characters, good plots, and awesome fights! I hate digging for these DVDs, though, so bring on a box set! Oh, and ditch the crappy Chaotic Century series.

5.0 out of 5 stars New Century Zero is amazing!, February 9, 2009
I absolutely love this series! This series was the one that made me into a zoids fan. The show is funny, dramatic, and blends both in very well. The characters are very well developed and add greatly to the amazing story. This series is a must buy for Zoids fans.
