5.0 out of 5 stars Great Entertainment
I bought this book for entertainment purposes. I honestly don't believe these will happen for sure, but, it has most of the things that happen and are shown in my dreams and I like most of the outcomes! This is a very good book - better than the other ones I have seen. Others don't have nearly as many words and symbols listed or are very confusing. This is simple and...

This is a Must for you who want a dream dictionary!!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE Dream book to buy!, August 22, 2000
By
Angela Sargeant (Sydney, NSW Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Zolar's Encyclopedia and Dictionary of Dreams (Paperback)
This is THE dream book to buy. What makes this book better than the others is that it doesn't just give one meaning to a symbol. For example, if you look up 'snake', you'll find the explanation of dreaming: of a snake; of being bitten by a snake; of killing a snake; of lots of snakes; etc. This approach makes dream analysis much more accurate. This book is permanently on my bedside table.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very good source to understanding one's dreams., June 17, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Zolar's Encyclopedia and Dictionary of Dreams (Paperback)
Ever wake up and remember a dream that was good or bad? This reference book helps the individual search key variables from the dream for meaning and understanding from the past, present, and future. I'm so glad I stumbled into this book. It's my only source for this type of information.

5.0 out of 5 stars Accurate Dream Interpretation Book, May 30, 2000

An excellent book for people trying to interprate their dreams. I bought an edition of this book over 7 years ago, and it is still accurate today as it was before. The book's author definately knows what dreams are all about. Since dreams can involve many things, it would be helpful if the publisher includes a cross-listing index in future editions, however, that absence should not prevent anyone from purchasing this book. Speaking from personal experience, about 80% of the definitions Zolar provides in this book have been accurate, and therefore I will remain loyal to his book than all others on the market.

5.0 out of 5 stars Zolar's Encyclopedia of Dreams, June 8, 2004
This review is from: Zolar's Encyclopedia and Dictionary of Dreams (Paperback)
The volume contains the origins of words, period of original/
common usage and applicable contexts. The emphasis of this book
is on dreams and pictorial representations expressed in ordinary
English. The work will assist any writer in expressing concepts
with greater feeling by reference to aesthetic concepts which
are the product of dreams and the imagination.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Zolar's Encyclopedia and Dictionary of Dreams (Paperback)
This book is definately worth every penny. It has much truth in dream meanings and many definitions to go by. I first purchased this book 8 years ago and just had to replace that copy due to so much wear and tear from use. Plain & simply put, I wouldn't have replaced it with any other.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent dream resource, March 26, 2000

This book is the forth in my collection of books by Zolar, and is probably one of the most complete and comprehensive dream guides I have encountered. Again, there's that clear and consise language that makes Zolar so popular and easy to read. A must-have for the dream journalist.
