Best book and reference book on colors that I've seen (for new age type of people). It's too bad local bookstore don't stock it however. This book used sort of a "test" to find out the color associations of food, etc so that you can figure out what kind of person you are and what kinds of food you eat. It even gives you the what the various shades of a color mean (such as olive green to emerald green). Very useful for auric reading work. Find out what types of food you like and will like even if you've never tasted them before.

This book was my first introduction to Zolar. I was attracted to the straight-forward language and practical applications contained within this book when I checked it out at the library for the first time and went back for it on a few more occasions before finally buying it last year. That same down-to-earth tone is found in all of Zolar's writings, although some of his early work originally released in the 60s is a little too sexist for my taste (in It's all in the Stars, women are most often characterized but their potential as home-makes and men as the sole bread-earners just to give you an idea) but you won't find that here. A must have for anyone interested in metaphysics and color magic.

Mentally grasping, and continuously studying and renewing one's mind inorder to completely understand and internalize the powers of the subtle energies of the universe and of each color requires patient, persistent observation of inner and outer change. Zolar's Magick of Color is "The Suscinct Color Reference". It is very easy to read a book as just entertainment and pass it on. It is quite another thing to really visually enter the energy path to begin the daily and lifelong practice of the concepts of the real magick of color and time as we know it,and how to change one's disposition, position, and life.

Further, prosperity means different things to different people. For me, prosperity was to be self-disciplined and learn the simple magick of color and prosperity on my own terms. Prosperity for me enlarged in a simple manner in 1982 when I paid off all debt, and utilized mortgage debt as an investment, which would correspond to my 11th house Jupiter and Moon conjunct in Scorpio (positive debt in my 11th house of how it is that I would make my prosperity. invested in just one rental property, holding it for 25 years, all along taking advantage of the tax advantages, and consequently cashing in before the real estate market completely tumbled in 2007. I then put the proceeds into a 10-year CD (an investment debt instrument) at the most favorable rate for the time. I have owned only 3 houses and each house has been gold for the numerological number 38/11/2) of rich, education, and wisdom.

Further, the Japanese statuaries I have in my garden, on my property I have painted gold to deflect evil and symbolize wisdom. Since I am the Chinese astrological sign of the wild boar, and my personal direction is the west which is ruled by metal, my west wall, wall paper is gold metal Japanese motif. (I want to note that the metaphysical information on color and numbers was not known to me during the time of any of my decisions and actions, they automatically unfolded through my choices.)

The West direction is also silver and white, my best and most favorite color is white and whenever I wear white, I always receive complements on my attire. Zolar does not include white except as the color of the complete prism. The West is the direction of the symbolic White Tiger.

When you are truly sincere in learning the secrets of color, you will see that the annual new year will bring forth in advertisements a predominant color or two. In the year 2010, the ending number of 10 brought forth an array of all the colors in their most stunning brilliancy, thus giving everyone opportunity to choose their favorites, and to subtly choose their own destiny.

Zolar's works assist us to understand how we make our own destiny and how to become "whole" with the greater understanding of "color". Therefore, "Sh, Quiet," see the subtle energies positively unfold in your life as you subtly pick something up to bring home and place in your environment. Observe the direction in which you have placed that color in your environment or on your body, and thus will your destiny unfold in the most subtlest of ways.

This information alone is "priceless," a wealth of knowledge and capacity to act favorably through the subtle energies of our hemisphere and the universe directing each of us according to "purpose = 38/(11/2) = gold = education = wisdom = rich".

One can be rich in the most modest abode, with the most modest of tastes, and the greatest of gratitude in really understanding how "simple," prosperity and happiness can really be. Happiness and wealth are in the gratitude of what one creates from within.
