Zombie Apocalypse Survival List

A Listmania! list by Todd White (Hutchinson, KS United States)
(REAL NAME)
The list author says: "I read some listmania lists covering things needed in a worse case scenario Zombie infestation. They were great reading and I enjoyed all of them, however, I wanted to create one of my own I felt was more compelling and covered more choices of clothing and weapons. Well, at least what Amazon has for sale weapons.

Speaking of which, rifles are heavy and ammunition for them is also heavy. Other than needing one for hunting, I see no reason to have one. Oh, that's an important reason, isn't it?

Pistols would be my bread and butter in a survival situation. Not as good at long range shooting but easier to handle up close and especially when entering buildings. My personal favorite is a 1911 Colt .45. Powerful and reliable, a great weapon to have knowing you are betting your life on its function.

Finding a good rifle firing a good intermediate cartridge would be ideal also, something like a Remington model 700, in a .308 wold suffice. Good all around game round and standard sniping round, also.

In all honesty, firearms would be your very last resort. Stabbing, crushing weapons should be your immediate option for dispatching Zombies. However, that kind of goes against the basic survival instinct to get away from danger.

At any rate, hope you enjoy this list. I had fun making it and had fun reading other lists."
