The saga continues...Can the kids get the cure to those who need it before they themselves become zombies? With a trip that includes zombie Elvis impersonators, a purchase of a Winnebago, a visit to Mall of America, a giant Ketchup bottle involving a tornado, and the headquarters that started it all, fans of the series will find themselves satisfied. The illustrations that accompany this novel help enhance the storytelling, bringing it to a new level of grossness, which is why young readers will enjoy it. I love it because I love a good zombie tale, especially one that is aimed at younger readers. If you have a reluctant reader in your household - especially a boy age 9+ - you might want to consider this series. |
