I believe this to be the best book in the author's series and I couldn't put it down. It continues with the Talbot family vs Eliza, the "Queen" of the Zombies and her unfortunate brother Tomas. Mark has added a few new characters to the mix and you never know if they are going to be like the "5th" crew member on Star Trek that they just have along to kill off or if they are going to make it through the book. Mark's writing has grown as his characters have grown.

The Talbot gang are just trying to survive the zombie infection but Eliza has other plans. Instead of running and hiding, the Talbots decide to find her. On the way they make a few friends, make a few enemies and are always in danger of zombie attacks. Seems the zombies have learned to adapt. The climax of the story is when they rush to rescue some long lost friends. Eliza and Tomas make their appearance with several hundred zombies. Did I mention they can both control the zombies with their minds. It comes down to Mike Talbot vs. Eliza and her large mean henchman. How will Mike survive? Will this group of survivors make it out? Will cranky old Mrs. Deneaux smoke her last cigarette? You really won't see it coming so I guess you'll just have to read the book.

Just a note about the author, Mark Tufo. If you will notice all the names in the front of the book, these are some of his dedicated fans. How cool is this to have our names listed. What is even cooler is he had a contest on Facebook, yes, you can find him there. (If you like his books look him up.) He choose 4 fans and wrote them into his book as characters. And yes, I am proud to be one of the survivors. Thanks for the Uzi Mark...you are awesome. I love the back story and the set up for the next book. What are you up to Mark?

I actually finished this 3 days after it was available on Kindle and just now getting around to reviewing it. Mr. Tufo has done it again (thank God). Great characters, humor, and horror all rolled up into one awesome book. I desperately want this series to end so I can finally know what happens and yet I never want it to end because I would so miss the Talbot clan who I really feel like I know and love. And doesn't that say it all. I have never felt like characters were more real and tangible than the characters in this series. The only negative thing I can say is dear God he leaves me wanting more. Keep it up and keep putting out the highly addictive narcotic that is the Zombie Fallout series.

Another fantastic continuation of the zombie fallout series. The author has outdone himself yet again. Another funny, sarcastic, scary zombie book. Zombies controlled by a vampire who is out to destroy all humanity, especially Mike Talbot and his family. Wherever they go, Eliza will find them. Creepy, fun and engrossing. Henry the farting dog always makes me smile. Fantastic series. I cant wait for the next one.

I love this series. While this wasn't my favorite of the 4, there were some new characters that were introduced that I would love to see again and learn more about. A great series by Mark Tufo and I am eagerly awaiting the next book from this gifted author.

Unbelievable series. After each book I keep saying to myself "it can't get any better than that". Well, Mark Tufo definately doesn't disappoint. Mark is one of the best authors in the zombie genre out there. Keep them coming Mark.

I stumbled upon this zombie series by Mark Tufo and I was so excited! I love zombie lit but I've read a lot of it and after awhile it seems to all blend together. This Zombie Fallout series, however, brings something fresh to the table. I love the characters and the relationships between them. I love the humor and wit used and how relatable the antagonist and his family are. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I felt as though this 4th book was more setup for the next book than anything else. Still entertaining and fun to read! The first three were solid. fourth was fun. fifth is eagerly anticipated!

The narrator does an excellent job of telling the tale, and his characterizations are very well done you really get a feel for the post-apocalyptic world. The rag-tag group of survivors are pushed to the limit, again and again. What sets this tale apart from the plethora of Zombie books out there are the clear use of funny anecdotes and sprinkling of great humor. Without giving away spoilers this is a great series of books and really well told stories that are not predictable. I forget to mention. While they are alive the characters are really well rounded. If you have any interest in this type of horror genre you'll love these audio books.

I am still very much enjoying this series. My question is, "How do you come up with these stories?" I can't wait to see what happens next.
