5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! October 2, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I thought this book was well thought out and well put together. I couldn't stop laughing at some parts and got really sad on others. Mark Tufo did an amazing job for this book. I am not going to write any spoilers for the story but the ending was great and the epilogue made it all make sense. I am pleased with how the story was written I have to say I think it would've been funnier if Mike somehow crapped out gold pieces instead (inside joke for those who haven't read book 3) but it was awesome. Like real life some people who deserved life died, and those who deserved death managed to squeeze through and live. When I read the first part I kept mocking the Blackest Night Comics (go read them if haven't) and kept saying "Michael Talbot of Earth, RISE!" what I like most about the Zombie Fallout Series is that these books were about real people with flaws and so forth. I like how Mark got you really inside their point of view and thoughts so you can see where they are coming from. There were no samurai warriors or ninjas coming to the rescue although it would've been cool to have a martial artist in these books but I think they're fine just as they are. As I read this series I kept finding myself curious on my own reaction on what I'd do. I have recommended this book because some characters remind me of people that I myself know. So I recommend this book to anyone who wishes a good laugh, tears (man tears if you sit on your keys while you read this story) and a good story. And for Mark, Semper Fidelis! But as I like to say it Semper Fidelis et Benedictus (Always Faithful and Blessed Be(and yes I am Pagan)).

5.0 out of 5 stars Satisfied and looking forward to more October 2, 2012

*SPOILERS WITHIN THE SECOND HALF*
So its very rare that I find myself writing a review for a book, even favourites. I find that most of the reviews out there will sway a potential reader into making their decision of whether or not to purchase a book, as well as forming someone else's opinion of said book. That being said I find myself tiredly writing this review after purchasing and reading ZF6 straight through. ZF6, like all of the others in the series contains a balance of humour and action that is so perfectly blended that one must remember not to laugh out loud whilst reading in a public place (lest you be looked at like a crazy person). Tufo seamlessly blends the storyline and answers questions that have plagued us readers throughout the series. However, it has also created more questions. While tying up loose ends, this book also creates more questions then ever as it forces its readers to become more and more absorbed into the story. This total absorption creates a feeling that the characters are true people that we feel a connection to and genuinely care for. The countdown for the release date of this novel was extremely harrowing as I found myself re-reading the sequels to this book in order to try and guess what Tufo could come up with next. *Spoiler* Mike does indeed have his showdown with Eliza but the outcome and the way this encounter unravels is not one I could have guessed. If you are as infatuated with I am with the previous books in the series then I'd highly recommend purchasing this book. If you haven't read the others, then read them. The only thing I can say is that this book did not disappoint and I am anticipating ZF7, (when or if it happens) as there are so many more post-apocalyptic adventures for the Talbot family to have.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT ENDING November 20, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book was a vast improvement over the last book. The 5th book seemed more like rambling filler. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Kudos, Mark Tufo.

Firstly I just want to say that I would give this 3.5 stars if this was an option. I now only give 4/5 stars to books I found excellent and that I would read over and over.

I did enjoy this book, it is much improved on ZF5 and much better written. There is little backstory only what is needed to refresh the reader and while Mike continues to produce humerous one liners they are delivered better and do not distract from the conversation.

I found the story too drawn out, the prologue was pointless basically Mike had a dream and we never knew if what occured was him hallucinating or was real. The epilogue was Elizas story that we had already learned about in previous stories so again was in my opinion pointless. The rest of the book moved quickly, had plenty of action and introduced new caracters.
I found the evolution of Thomas' caracter confusing and felt Mrs Deneaux got off to light, I can understand not killing her off but she deserved a bit of hardship to come her way.
Anyway I am glad so many people enjoyed this book and I will read books one to four again but I doubt I would buy another in this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars You can't stop reading until it's over.... October 1, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Seriously, every book in this series has been one that I cannot stop reading until I reach the end. Mark writes with wonderful humor and realism that makes each book so much fun to lose yourself into.
If you don't like these books, then I am sorry because you must not have a sense of humor. I relate so well with Mike's germaphobia that I giggle every time I see the words hand santizer.
If ever there were a real zombie apocalypse, I would want Mike Talbot on my side.

Talbot finally finds out why his family is the target. He also learns about love and family. Some grammatical mistakes, but a great story nonetheless .
