It was well plotted.

Love scenes are believable if samey, and a lot of the story is told from the hero's point of view which I enjoy.

A must read for zombie fans, and an excellent read for any dark paranormal romance fan!

This was a refreshing new paranormal story that I really loved. There were so many great things about it. (1) It is an actual paranormal romance--not one of those stories where 2 people are thrown together under extreme circumstances and have sex so many times that the chemicals produced by sex make their bodies think they are in love. This one was cleverly plotted so that they came in contact and actually showed their relationship build and how his otherness was reacted to. (2) It was shown more from the perspective of the main male character and he is definitely the type of rounded character you want to get into the mind of. (3) It was well plotted. The twists and turns kept catching me off guard the entire book. Halfway through I had a moment when I thought I new what was going to play out, but than it twisted again filling me with relief. (4) The 3rd person point of view and the switching back and forth from his to hers perspective was well done and kept the pace moving. The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars was because I never really came to 'care' about the heroine. She just didn't hook my interest and I never completely got over her reason for getting in contact. I'd give it 4.25/5.

I chose this book after reading the free [...] daily read, Zombie Midnight, by the same author. Like the novella, this story engaged me from the start and kept me reading till the very end. I was not a zombie fiction fan by any means before this book, only checked it out because a co-worker is on a zombie kick and I caught sight of the zombie book on e-harlequin thinking it the perfect test for me to see what the hype was about zombies. I'm so glad I did!

I loved this book from start to finish and I'm hoping Lori Devoti writes more Zombie books in the future. The writing style is excellent, the characters engaging, the setting believable, and the storyline dark, angst-ridden and filled with just the right about of descriptive horror. A must read for zombie fans, and an excellent read for any dark paranormal romance fan! Caleb, the werewolf zombie hunter is a character to get to know as is his beloved Samantha!

Samantha Wagner wants to save her best friend Allison from the evil doctor. The madman is changing people into zombies that he controls. She has little hope of succeeding and in fact fears she will instead become another converted lost soul, but will not give up the fight.

Samantha believes she has a break when she meets werewolf zombie hunter Caleb Locke who lost his beloved family to the voracious zombie horde. She fools him into leaving with her. However, Caleb quickly figures out Samantha's ruse and gets her to confess why. He agrees to try to rescue Allison and others about to be changed, but is unable to persuade Samantha he should go it alone. As they work together, they fall in love, but he fears her reaction to learning what kind of monster he is

Zombie Moon is an exhilarating urban fantasy romance that takes off from the opening gun when the lead couple meet while encountering zombies by a dumpster and never decelerates as the pair risks their lives to try to save Allison and his "monsters" from a lunatic. Samantha and Caleb are courageous soulmates dedicated to their respective cause. Fans of zombie romantic suspense thrillers will appreciate this terrific tale as Caleb knows his inner monster recognizes just who Samantha is to him, but also believes revealing what he is will kill him because she will leave horrified by his revelation.
