Book Description

What a Monday morning it was. The resurrected dead have tossed the world into a dystopian zombie apocalypse.

In this first episode we follow a disillusioned pastor,a lovestruck college student, and a cautious computer programmer as they are trying to survive.

One minute Carl and Betty are studying for a class, the next they are running from bloodthirsty zombies bent on devouring them. Will they be able to survive?

Computer programmer Mary and salesman Dexter have to get out of the city when everyone else has the same idea. Will the living dead end their lives like they have ended the work day?

Reverend Jeremiah Jones began the day wanting to sleep through boring ministry presentations, but now he is attempting to evacuate hundreds from the meeting that the Bishop left him in charge of.

New Episodes will appear regularly, so please check back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Overall, Episode 1 is a very good read. March 1, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Zombie Resurrection Episode 1 has good early individual character development and has a nice flow and rhythm to the story line. It's always difficult to quickly grab a readers attention in the beginning of a story and so far this author is doing a good job. It definitely leaves You wanting more. If You are a lover of Apocalyptic style stories, I believe this will be one to follow. I personally am looking forward to reading Episode II

I love a book that captures my attention from the very beginning and this one does just that. The characters are believeable and an interesting mix if personalities. This book is one of the better I have read recently and I have read a lot of zombie books. I am impressed with the writing style and cant wait to read more of Quincy Simpson's series....Keep up the great work

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent contribution to the zombie genre March 5, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
I've been a zombie fan since seeing Night of the Living Dead in the late 1960's at the State Avenue Drive In. While the recent popularity has lead to a number of poorly written books and poorly directed films, Quincy Simpson has truly made an interesting and intriguing contribution to the genre.
There is a realism and urgency to this book that honestly makes you feel as if this could really happen. That is the mark of truly good writing and Simpson nails it.
I look forward to the rest of the series.

3.0 out of 5 stars Has potential June 17, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I thought the beginning was strong, introduced us to a bunch of the characters and the strife they suffered in the wake of the apocalypse, and the plot was well done. I'm just not as much of a fan of the prose, it could be tighter. I'm looking forward to Quincy Simpson's other works to see if he improved his writing.
