I have the book and love it... so you don't really need this set of cards. However, this is great to keep in the bathroom for guests to look at. It's a nice bit-sized way to help others get prepared for the impeding zombie apocalypse.

being someone who enjoys max brooks writing, and having a friend suggest them to me, i recently got these as a gift from my wishlist and i absolutely love them. they are a great addition to my ever growing zombie collection, and heck, if your mind goes blank in an emergency, flash cards are the way to go, you don't want to take too much time scanning a book while a zombie is getting ready to chomp down on your brains. you can simply look at the header of the card and if it's not your scenario, just flip it to the end of the pile, pretty easy to do while running.

These cards go hand in hand with the book. The information may be the same, but it is fun to have handy cards around as an addition. Either way you read it, they are great and it is kind of nice to have a card deck around that my friends can pick up and read for tidbits on saving themselves from a Zombie Apocalypse!

While this is almost the abridged version of the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, I have to say that this is no different than flash cards of Military Planes or Vehicles that my dad brought home decades ago. Again, I'll reiterate that this is a quick reference guide where the rules of Zombies/ Zack are abbreviated or explained in a brief manner for "field" use. So if you forgot what the positives and negatives of using that B.A.R. against a horde of zombies that you've kept tucked away in your gun locker... pull out the card for easy reference! Or what the pros and cons of your S.U.V. are in a Zombie Apocalypse?

Seriously, this is a fun quick read at a coffee table or in the bathroom... heck, I have both the book and the cards, so that might make my review a little biased.

I recently bought the deck, book, and journal to the ultimate zombie survival guide. I've started on the deck and even took it with me to work. One of my co-workers said he's going to order the set too. It sparked an interesting conversation on the "what if's". I'm almost done with the deck and I really like it. Can't wait to get started on the book. If you want to be prepared for the "what if" scenerio then I would definitly get this set. At least get the deck or the book. It has really great knowledge to soak up. Some tactics I didn't even think of!

These cards make a good little stocking stuffer. I got this in mine. They make for a fun read as a coffee table item or in lieu of a one-a-day calendar. I would read a card a day for something fun.

Entertainment value is good. For the money it's a great laugh.

As someone said, this is information covered in The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead but it also doesn't claim to be more and has the same cover art with the exception of being called a "deck".

If you're looking for a good read, this probably isn't your best bet and should stick with The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead. This is more of a desktop novelty item or, as someone said, bathroom reading. The packaging and cards are well done and very good quality.

My husband has read and re-read the actual Zombie Survival Guide, as he is convinced the Zombie apocalypse is upon us, so these flash cards made the perfect stocking stuffer for him! He went through them right away when he opened them and he just loves them

my sister got the book. and i was going to get that but then i saw the cards. we love card games and road trips so they will be going on many adventures and if we run into zombies will have a few more tricks up our sleeves with the cards :D
