Editorial Reviews

A child grows up studying the occult and plotting vengeance after being brutalized and crippled by drunken Mardi Gras Revelers. One stormy Lundi Gras night he performs a Sumerian ritual which unearths ZOMBIE! from his ancient sleep. ZOMBIE! prowls the streets of New Orleans on Mardi Gras Day, leaving a trail of terror and carnage in his wake.

This review is from: Zombie! Vs. Mardi Gras [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This is a great movie. Very cheesy, gory, and it doesn't take itself seriously at all. It is ultra low budget and shot in black and white (with the exception of 2 brief color scenes) but this only adds to the charm. The plot is VERY hard to follow and you will have to watch it more than once before you realize what's going on, and even then, everything that happens after Galileo disapears (long story) makes no sense at all and shouldn't have been included. It should have ended with Galileo just vanishing. Anyway, the nonsensical plot is part of what makes this movie great. See ZOMBIE! vs Mardi Gras now!
