4.0 out of 5 stars Good Expansion despite poor Sewer travel rules.
The Sewer rules in this expansion were disappointing. The real value here is the additional tiles it gives you. There are six Subway tiles (Complete with new Subway travel rules), more intersections and named bulidings, plus a whole lot of event cards. You will need the Main game to utilize this set. Although it is not as good as Expansion 2, (Zombie Corps(e)) 3, (Mall...

The Zombies!!! game I enjoy very much. I generally play the game with one other person so my review is based on two people playing. Some things in there work better with more.

Although it is not as good as Expansion 2, (Zombie Corps(e)) 3, (Mall Walkers), or 4 (School's Out) it still holds it's own. One of the GREAT things about this expansion is that the tiles are mixed in with the city tiles, and DO NOT Need to be kept in a separate stack. I like that a lot! The lost star is for the sewer rules. I feel they could have done better. All in All Thumbs up!

When you think of undead attacks, you need to cover all the bases. You have to think of the livestock, think of the way malls will be hit, and think of college campuses. After you have all of this down you will, undoubtedly, find that you have a brave new world standing directly below most major metropolitan cities. In Zombies 6 the underground lair of railway dragons is explored and then some, finding that subways are not safe places to be when the undying starts and that you can definitely shaft people below ground as easily as you can above.
This is a great expansion set for a game that keeps on living.

First and foremost, this is not a stand-alone game and needs the basic set. You need zombies and lots of `em and, by now, you might even need to get you a few extra. Just like the sets that keep on keeping on, you also have bags of (1) zombies, (2) dogs, and (3) babes to keep the world from being too static. You also have a few rule changes by now but the basic premises still apply: flip a card and add ground, get a playable card that can perhaps help you and can doubtlessly cause other players problems, and wait for the final piece of terra to be flipped so you can escape ALONE. Here you play to be king/queen of the castle - if the subjects fall then they fall and that does not concern you. You sometimes run and sometimes fight and combat is easy enough (6-sided die, 1-3 bad times and 4-6 is good fun) to keep you from bogging down. The expansion cards can also be placed inn the regular deck so, when played you can have a giant metropolis with multiple escape routes.
The bigger your game gets, the better the play gets.

If you are new to the series, check out Zombies! and see how it fits your idea of fun. I like it because it gives me something to play with everyone BUT it doesn't force me to play nice (a good thing when you have relatives to play games with). I also like the fact that all the stuff can come together, making a gargantuan game that 6 people can play.
I hate board games, too, normally finding them boring with a few exceptions. This is definitely one of those exceptions.

This is the six expansion for the game Zombies!!! it's Zombies!!! 6 Six Feet Under and it's a MUST for the set!
It adds a subway system and sewers. With endless possibilities the game is hours of fun! I'm so please with this game I bought all the expansions so don't be surprised if you see a review from me on each of them. If you are a fan of zombies this game is a must have! The art is wonderful. The figures well made. Don't forget to buy extra zombies cause you will need them and they are very inexpensive!

Zombies!!! 6: Six Feet Under is another expansion to the base Zombies!!! game. There are 2 big draws to this expansion; first, the sewer tokens. Each player gets 2 sewer tokens that they can place, allowing them to enter the sewer and avoid combat with any zombies. You have to make sure to get in and get out though, as you lose 1 heart token every round you remain down in the sewer. This is actually a pretty fun mechanic, but really all you do is lay your shotgun guy on his side to signify he's underground; I thought there were going to be actual sewer tiles and not just manhole covers.

The other big addition is that of subway stations, which allow you to move from one station to any other station on the board by sacrificing movement for 1 turn. This is great when you're playing with tons of city tiles, and can really speed the game up if you need to cover a lot of ground quickly.

Besides the subway stations, some of the other new tiles include a bank, a record store, a liquor store, and some generic 3 ways. There are multiple of each, so you can really increase the size of your city up from the base game. Many of the event cards also stick with the sewer theme and do things like flood out the sewers, add zombies to sewer entrances, make people miss their subway stops, etc. The "It Was Here?!" card allows a player to move the helipad tile after it has been placed, and there are a few flashlight cards that double movement when in the sewer.

Overall, Zombies!!! 6 is a great addition to the base Zombies!!! game, and is probably one of my favorite expansions. I like the underground theme, the new event cards are great, and the addition of subway stations really adds something to the game.

The Zombies!!! game I enjoy very much. I generally play the game with one other person so my review is based on two people playing. Some things in there work better with more.

This expansion pack, Zombies!!! 6 is a little disappointing though it is a neat idea. I have gotten several expansions before this one to compare. For two people playing, the sewers are not that useful. The subway would probably help but if you have many cards in your deck, then you will not get the other entrance for awhile. I have yet to be able to use the subway effectively. The game lends itself to making changes, and we will have to in order to use this pack effectively, but it is nice if the game could stand on its own without so many changes to begin with.

If you play with multiple people or have a small stack of cards, I can see this pack being very fun. Otherwise, get another expansion pack. I do recommend the game itself and often the expansions are worth it.
