Enjoyed this suprisingly more than I thought I would. Rochester is acerbically witty. Yet there is something so redeeming about her wanton harshness, as if all of it was written with a cheeky smile. You can't help but find her likeable. I found many of the little anecdotes so relatable that I couldn't help but laugh out loud. Trials of travelling on the bus, being told stupid things by stupid magazines. And yeah, why the hell do pigeons have red eyes?
I was sceptical about the snippet-like nature of the collection, as I'm usually into longer narratives, but after having gone through a couple of them, I couldn't stop till I'd gone through the whole thing. If you're in the market to be told a little story and have a laugh then I can do nought but recommend this hilarious little Kindle debut.
