5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Band
The Zombies don't get nearly the respect or recognition they deserve for their lasting contribution to the "60's Sound". Not only were they a radio favorite, they had inventive, creative song structures that have a timeless feel. "Tell Her No" and "She's Not There" are as good as I remembered them to be.:Jazzy melodies.Nice beat. "Leave Me Be" is reminiscent of The Cranberries. "Summertime" has some jazz undertones not fully developed. The rest of the songs are
not so memorable.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Band, September 20, 2009

The Zombies don't get nearly the respect or recognition they deserve for their lasting contribution to the "60's Sound". Not only were they a radio favorite, they had inventive, creative song structures that have a timeless feel. George Harrison credited such songs as 'The Way I Feel Inside' and 'Tell Her No' as being very influential to all the Beatles, which is about as high a praise as you could receive. The CD is a good sounding transfer of the original studio recordings and a must have for any music fan's library.

This cd is awesome! The Zombies had a unique sound. The selection of songs are definitive Zombie tunes. 'Summertime' has a really jazzy, mellow feel. The organ dominates most of the songs to give it that Zombie edge. A must for any 60's fan. I play it over and over.

4.0 out of 5 stars Zombies 1st review, January 11, 2008

After finding an original copy of this LP on Parrot in the mid 70s, I found this record as compared to other beat groups of the day quite enjoyable. Overlooking the cover tunes (Got My Mojo.., You've Reall..., there are quite a few gems on this CD such as their single "She's Coming Home", "I Love You", "I Want You Back", "I Don't Want To Know" which all include the pop-rock-jazzy Zombies formula. Few bands upheld such a sound and made it work. For fans of the She's Not There and Tell Her No sound, you won't be disppointed with this CD.
