A few years ago when I first saw Lordi appear on the US scene I thought they were nothing but a Gwar rip off band. However, the more I listened, the more I have grown to appreciate their music and their version of theatrical music. Sure, the outlandish costumes and demon stick have been done in some ways by Gwar, Slipknot, and Mushroomhead for a while now, but thier music is definately more straight hard rock than the bands mentioned before. Much more melodic and chorus driven songs with a heavy dash of keyboard overtones. I purchased the 2 cd and dvd version imported from spain, and here is the tracklisting (if you can not read the photo amazon has posted).

The bonus DVD basically contains all of the Bonus DVD tracks Lordi has ever released, as well as most of the performances they have done, short of the "Bringing Back The Balls To Stockholm" dvd. This has the full Market Square Massacre dvd on it. It is a bit wierd they have a second "greatest hits" cd out of only 5 cd's (The Monster Show being the other compilation, and Babies For Breakfast was not out when this was issued), but I think this is the one folks need to get if you want one lordi cd on your shelf to cover their work. Overall, worth the extra to import it to the USA for me.
