You like Los Lobos or Flaco Jimenez? Rowwen Heze is a must have. Rowwen Heze has a lot of respect to them and also played with them. They grown up in Horst-America, a little farmer place near Venlo in the Netherlands. Rowwen Heze is the name of a cult figur who lived in Horst-America.The songs written and sung by Jack Poels the frontman tells about the daily life which also includes lot of beer-drinking and having fun. It is sung in a urban language called Limburgs, a province in the south. The sound of Rowwen Heze is strongly based on the amazing playing on the accordeon of Tren van Enckevort. Sometimes they play pop, ballad, country, blues but their best is uptempo tex-mex. Listen to their title track and you'll know what Rowwen Heze is all about: Let's Party!
