I brought this bible along with the Amplified Bible, NLT Study Bible and one other I cannot remember at the moment and I must say this is THE best bible I have in my possession right now.

I love how the books of the Old (Hebrew bible) and New Testament are listed in the Table of Contents. For those of you with a thirst for bible history, you will love the maps, colored graphs of the Old & New Testament and the best thing of all before each book this gem list the theme of that book, author, date, historical setting and an outline of events in that books. What more can you ask for in a bible?

This bible does not end at Revelations, beyond that book is a table of weights and measures three different indexes, and a Concordance. If you are in the market for a new bible make this the one for you.

I found the NIV Study Bible (Large Print) to be the best Bible I have ever read. I own almost every modern translation. This translation and writing style are excellent and the large print makes for easy reading of both the text and study notes. No other Bible packs in more study helps than this one. I would recommend thumb tabs and black letter if it is available.

I have this Bible and love it! The study notes are great. The large print is very easy to read. I have no complaints about this Bible at all. It is indexed which is wonderful, gold leafed pages. Absolutely great for Bible study. It has helped me so very much.

I read this Bible every day and the large print enables me to do so with ease. I also love the "study" part of it that is included on the bottom of each page. Since I am a new "Christian", the information allows me to better understand what has been written. This is an invaluable asset when studying God's Word.

This study bible makes reading and understanding the bible a lot easier. The notes at the bottom of the page are very helpful. I use mine in Sunday school. It makes a lot of the unclear statements and words in the bible much easier to understand. I highly recommend this bible and love the LARGE print.

This book is so easy to use and read! If you have never completely read the bible this is the book for you. It makes understanding the bible so easy!

The Zondervan large print Bible would be my choice as a gift and as a personal study Bible for the ease of the visual and for the commentary presented below the scriptures.

I gave this as a present for a friend and she has been most complimentary at the ease of use for finding scriptures and the ability to find words key to specific verses.

God's word being the guide to Truth should be as accessible visually to all who pick it up.

I love this Bible! I have a number of other Bibles that are very nice, but this one is fast becoming my favorite. I enjoy have the wealth of study aids at my disposal and how they make the Bible come alive. Best of the Best!

After lots of research into different types of study and reference bibles I selected this one. The large print is clear (even without my glasses) and less eye-strain translates to more devoted time studying His word. The introductions to the books are informative and clear, as are the parallel reference verse reference and study notes. The box was a little "dented" upon receipt but the Bible was in great shape. This is definately the bible to give or receive!
