Nice study bible.
It's my first study bible. Except for the small print and rice paper-type pages (typical of most bibles I guess), it's a great book.

Misrepresented
I bought this bible specifically because I was looking for a study bible with wide margins to take notes, which is listed as one of the features. Beware that it does NOT have wide margins. I was very disappointed when I received it. Other than that, it's a fine specimen.

I am very pleased with this study bible. The ft. notes are quite informative and very helpful. The cross references are plentiful and usefull too. I like the smaller size of this bible, but am sorry I had to lose the larger print option with this size.

As a pastor, I've used the NIV Study Bible myself for 20 years now and just purchased this one for my 14 year old son. It's great. I love the notes. My son just used it to study up on the book of Philemon (two pages with notes) and then presented a devotion for the family based upon what he learned. Great study and learning tool for high school on up.

This is a very helpful Bible since it has notes that sum up each book as well as giving time and location (setting). There are notes for each chapter giving summaries. Excellent book for religion classes in college.

Red letter words of Christ, further explanation of 90% of each and every scripture just at the bottom half of the page.... this is truely the bible for those who desire to UNDERSTAND Gods word! Get this bible.... it makes a perfect home bible! Just remember that since this version is hardbound it doesnt travel as well.

This is a replacement for a previously purchased paperback Study Bible. I like the new updated edition which includes, Study Helps. I am in a Bible Study group and find the personal size handy and more convenient to use.
